Going Commando
I've always liked Trey Burke. He was pretty crappy in Utah, but he was rushed into a starting role he was unsuited and unready for.
BRAVEONAWARPATH
David Pick @IAmDPick Source: Odds of Euro stash Tomas Satoransky leaving Barcelona for Wizards, slim to none. Disappointing but not surprising. Supposedly, he wants another shot at a title before he comes over.
GOSKINS_08
I like Burke as a backup. And for a 2nd rounder in 2021? I like it. Edited July 3, 2016 by GOSKINS_08
CrypticVillain
Don't mind Burke. There's a log jam at the guard spot in Utah I've heard. And I remember him from Michigan. At this point, I'll take it. I'm desperate lol. Anybody that thought Tomas was coming here was fooling themselves. He ain't coming.

bearrock
So what's the end game for Satoransky? He's making 1.5 mil in Barcelona with a 2.2 mil buyout. With the 650k Wiz can contribute towards the buyout, he would have to make 3 mil plus in NBA to break even for the first year. Considering the kind of contracts being thrown around, I would imagine that he would get more than that right? Is he hoping for a bigger contract down the road? At some point, it seems like his stay in Europe will be diminishing returns.

BRAVEONAWARPATH
J. MichaelVerified account@JMichaelCSN If no Satoransky, it changes how team is structured. I was told by league sources it would be addressed AFTER 1st week of FA #WizardsTalk J. MichaelVerified account@JMichaelCSN Wizards' plan is after all this is to then move to Satoransky. But that's a later in process. No word if their view changed #WizardsTalk J. Michael ✔@JMichaelCSN @RLeendersNBA Said in either report or tweet weeks ago, theyd wait until after 1st wave of FA to go at him. Skin'emAlive
So we traded Clarkson for cash because of Sato, and after 4 years, we still are no closer to him coming here. Haha. Of course. Edited July 3, 2016 by Skin'emAlive

CRobi21
We know what kind of player he is. But happy for Temple the person, and his family. Good dude. Maybe his personality can rub off to some in that dysfunctional franchise.
