Anthony Davis wasn't the top guy going into his season either, a lot of places had either Austin Rivers, Andre Drummond, Harrison Barnes, or MKG as the number one, of all people. The consensus that Davis should be #1 actually took a surprisingly long time to form. A lot of people thought he couldn't score and that he was too skinny and that what he did wouldn't translate that well to the NBA. Draftniks don't really know anything for sure at this point. This is why I respect guys from the 90s like Jordan, Barkley etc. There was on load management BS. The fans pay their hard earned money to watch you play, you play. Fair, then I walked up to the screen and pointed to the 140 points we allowed. It's impossible to win in this league allowing that many points a game, how many they win is almost a side note seeing this in action. I agreed with him it felt good we didnt jus lie down and die.
