BayouBrave86
Just played arguably two of the best teams in football (talent wise at least):ols:and came out of it 1-1. Yes, it sucks we blew the game today, but it's part of the growing pains I guess. It's eerily similar to the loss against the Saints last year. Just gotta shake your head at games like these. Regardless, I think this team has the talent to sneak into the playoffs if they remain healthy. Maybe we can establish a run game next week against St. Louis. Our run game actually shows up when it matters which is good to see. It's going to be a really wild ride the rest of the year but I can't wait. How refreshing was it to see an NFL offense on the field for us? Our QB just threw for over 400 yards.:point2skyAnyway, we have the talent to beat anyone in the league, and isn't that what we want? To know that we have a chance any given Sunday. HAIL!
CRogersGuy
Good post. Season certainly isn't over. Especially after seeing the rest of the NFC East.
skinsfan07
Great post. We don't get the fg blocker, we win 30-27. Bam. No overtime, no sky is falling threads. We will be good this year. Our run game will get better and we will be fine. I'm not worried at all. This Texans team is the same one that KILLED the Colts. I knew that they could climb back, and they did. Very good team. We have some work to do, but I still think we will be a solid team this year.
TheItalianStallion
Not that I'm blaming McNabb, but I really wish he'd put just a tiny bit less on that second bomb to Galloway.......
zoony
Anyone who doesn't think this league isn't all about the QB is a ****tard. A really, really, big one. That is all.
WorldBFree76
It's certainly a huge step towards being a contending team. It's the hardest position to fill in football and we have one of the better ones in the league. I mean, he threw for 400 yards with guys like 40 year old Joey Galloway, Roydell Williams and 27 year old rookie Anthony Armstrong filling in at WR. Iced Coffee
I am still shocked at our QB play.. it still is crazy seeing what mcnabb is doing after these last few years of campbell.

Chicken Fried
That Saints game last year....man, I've never been that pissed at refs before. That was OUR game.
ddub52
He spread the ball around a lot today. Moss, Cooley, Davis, Galloway, Armstrong, R. Williams, K Williams, and Sellers all had catches today
SprintBomb
It sucks to loose but we held our own with a top team in the league. I did not expect us to be 1-1 at this point. McNabb looked great and for the first time in years I feel comfortable when our QB drops back to pass. This should be a good year for us.

HigSkin
I can't remember the last time we had a QB listed in the upper echelon of weekly passing leaders. Hail to McNabb. http://www.nfl.com/stats/weeklyleaders
smurfs86
McNabb was great today. He was by no means perfect, but at no point did I ever feel like he was going to lose it for us. As long as the O-line can protect, we are in good hands with McNabb
Unforgiven
McNabb had a great game and I'm really optimistic about the rest of the season. We just need to get a running game going so we can grind the clock a bit more when we build up the kind of lead we had.
dswerdlw
I wasn't able to watch the game here in Western Pennsylvania. From the stat lines, it looked like our receivers might have stepped up with McNabb. Any thoughts on our WR play?
WhoRUSupposed2Be
McNabb had three clutch throws between Armstrong, Williams and Moss that was called back for holding.
texasthunder
I am still shocked at our QB play.. it still is crazy seeing what mcnabb is doing after these last few years of campbell. From today: OAKLAND, Calif. -- Bruce Gradkowski replaced an ineffective Jason Campbell after halftime and led the Oakland Raiders to three scoring drives and a 16-14 victory over the St. Louis Rams in the home opener on Sunday. Pretty bad when you get benched by the Raiders, playing against the Rams. Yes, McNabb did a great job, wish we had some RB that has some speed. Portis N Pals
Just look at what McNabb did today and what Campbell did today. We are SO lucky to have McNabb. Its like we got 100x better at the most critical position in the game, and it only cost a 2nd rounder.
Redskins4ever
McNabb played a great game. This was why we traded for him because we needed an upgrade at QB. However, I am concerned about the defense though. Two games straight, the defense has struggled to defend against the pass.
brandymac27
Great thread! I feel the same way. I said in another thread that these past 2 games have been so refreshing to watch. Compared to last year, we're 1000 times better, and it's mainly b/c of our new kick ass QB! Hated him in Philthy, but I friggin love him here!
