justice98
Zero catches and only 1 target for our starting WR. We can't have this. And he's the second best WR on the team?? This dude is finished. Really no contribution from the WR corps outside of Moss.
Chicken Fried
But at least Anthony Armstrong stepped up. He made a few mistakes but looked very promising to me.
Mickalino
And he's the second best WR on the team?? That is correct. It's a reflection on the awful state of the rest of our WR's.
Fred Jones
Armstrong is going to have earn my respect again. His dropped pass in the end zone deserved a benching and replacement. I don't understand why Thomas did not play and R. Williams did. And I didn't even notice Galloway was on the field. That is how bad he was. Operations
We should resign James Thrash. Our receiving corps after Moss is absolute garbage
F-16 CHIEF
Did he even dress out? And Armstrong? 2 dropped TD's in a row? Uh. Yeah. Not looking too good.
justice98
But at least Anthony Armstrong stepped up. He made a few mistakes but looked very promising to me. Stepped up? One catch for 11 yards and one drop in the endzone (that first one was a catchable ball).
SIXX99
Galloway needs to go. There is no reason to keep him on the team when we can let our young guys get a chance.
Fred Jones
Fred Davis was another player that I didn't see much of during the game. He kind of got lost.
Devastate
Granted I'm not sure if Thomas has earned a right to be on the field with the starting unit, but it's EXTREMELY common for people to play better than they practice.. We've got little to lose as far as the WR's go I say DT starts behind Armstrong next week as we'll get little to nothing from Galloway.
Iced Coffee
we need some serious upgrades at wr. This rotation is not going to do much.

Speaking of which, why wasn't it a penalty on Jenkins for yanking Armstrong by the helmet on that play ?

bird_1972
Maybe once the O is in more of a rhythm, the other WRs and Davis will get more looks. I thought the O (at least the line) started to improve as the game went on.

Devastate
Which I thought was odd to see him doing a fade like that.. It doesn't play to his strength.. I'm no fan of DT, but it should have been him on those fade routes, it'd of been 6 points. DT i think is just better suited to them.
OU_skins
I would have given Housh four times what the Ravens gave him, especially in an uncapped year. I can't stand or WRs.

Mickalino
Where are the people who have been saying all offseason that Galloway hasn't lost hardly any speed his whole career even up until now ?

We've got little to lose as far as the WR's go I say DT starts behind Armstrong next week as we'll get little to nothing from Galloway. DT has to have certain things that he does well, and he's not a small receiver, so I don't understand why they wouldn't use him on those TD throws to Armstrong. He's bigger, he's stronger, he's more athletic. Now maybe he doesn't always know what he's doing, but on those plays, I think he could execute without screwing it up. He's got about 3-4 inches on Armstrong, you could've even thrown a jump ball. But if they watch the film and grade out Galloway as a starting WR next week, I'm gonna eat my hat. TheLongshot
I only saw the second half, but until the OL starts playing better, the passing game is going to be rough. Yeah, they only gave up one sack, but McNabb looked like he was running for his life half the time. I give the Boys D some credit for being good, but that looked like a rough game. As for Armstrong in the end zone, it is no wonder that Shanahan wanted to see Kelly out there. That doesn't seem to be Armstrong's game, who seems to be more quick than physical. SwoleHog
There are some very stupid people on message boards; for all you know Galloway could have been open all night. He can't catch the ball unless it is thrown to him. Unless you have the coaches tape; you have no clue.
Conn
Yeah, I wasn't impressed at all. I really wanted to see DT in on some packages, but I understand that you can't take a risk on his dropsies in such a big first statement game.
