Prompts much daydreaming...i like isolation and basking in the grandeur of nature...I could live forever on James Bond or Castaway Island

And since several federal agencies and an impressive number of private institutions agree that it's best if I'm kept physically away from most people, I bet one of them may buy me a ticket someday.

From the Richmond Zoo:

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) - The snowstorm gave a cheetah cub in Central Virginia a chance to play in some winter weather for the very first time.

The Metro Richmond Zoo posted video on Facebook of Kumbali the cub and her canine friend, Kago, playing in the snow on Saturday.

Professor Abdurrahman Harun Özdaş, from Dokuz Eylül University said that the 4,000 year-old shipwreck is the oldest of its kind to be found in Turkey.

The shipwreck is thought to be used for trading purposes and is from the Minoan Civilization, which existed around 3650 to 1400 BCE.

Afraid of heights? Afraid of water? Stay away from this glass-bottom ‘skypool’

Battersea in London is the location of a famous home for dogs and cats, and soon it will likely attract visitors for another reason: a planned “sky pool” that will be span the space between two apartment blocks near the Battersea Power Station.

The pool will be made of glass casing nearly eight inches thick, giving swimmers a view of the street 115 feet below. Residents in the 2,000-home Embassy Gardens Legacy Buildings can do laps in the 82-foot pool, which will join the two buildings. Architecture firm Arup Associates designed the pool, which is about 16 feet wide and 10 feet deep, according to Dezeen. Structural design engineers Eckersley O’Callaghan and aquarium designers Reynolds also consulted on the project.

What a great dad:

http://mashable.com/2016/02/25/superhero-dad-helps-little-girl/?hl=1&noRedirect=1#l15LK.7uaEqk

LONDON — The sign of a good parent is someone who's willing to go the extra mile for their children.

A dad who's happy to pop on a Superman costume at short notice and go out in public during rush hour probably falls into this category.

A little girl called Phoebe from St Helens, UK, recently dressed up as Batman for her school's superhero-themed fancy dress day, BBC Radio Merseyside reports. Unfortunately, Phoebe lost her nerve at the last minute.

Enter hero dad Danny Arnold. In order to make his little girl feel more comfortable, Arnold busted out his Superman costume for the walk to school.
