bird_1972
Mistake to draft a QB. Draft the top rated LT or trade down for picks. We need O Line and we need to get younger.

BKSkinsFan
Scariest thing about this is Cerrato is still around. If his job is in jeopardy, why is he scouting players for the draft????!!!!!
GaryGreenMonk
UUhhggg.... I seriously can't deal with another 3 years of mistakes, INT's and arguments over whether the new QB has shown any flashes of being good again... i can't.. QB rookie talk does nothing for me... just makes me wince.
NewCliche21
Was it Art or TK who really wanted McCoy? Either way, I'll be pissed as hell if we take a quarterback. We're not making a run next year or the year after, so address the line.

Larry Brown #43
I don't care who they were looking at. The following is what you should be worried about: Owner Daniel Snyder and Vinny Cerrato, Washington's executive vice president of football operations, recently attended a ___________ game to scout ___________, Cerrato also made a trip to conduct an in-person evaluation of ___________. NewCliche21
I don't care who they were looking at. The following is what you should be worried about: The part to specifically be worried about is that Snyder is involved at all. Nothing has changed. Jethrodsp
Our first pick has to be the best offensive lineman on the board.
Boss_Hogg
"Owner Daniel Snyder and Vinny Cerrato, Washington's executive vice president of football operations, recently attended a University of Texas game to scout quarterback Colt McCoy, according to sources within the organization. Cerrato also made a trip to conduct an in-person evaluation of Notre Dame junior quarterback Jimmy Clausen, who this week declared for the draft." This bad news folks, real bad. Vinny is not going anywhere
C26 Run
This is exactly why we are doomed to fail under Cerrato. We need a GM that can build a team. :helmet:

WhoRUSupposed2Be
If they do not at least tender Campbell, then I am completely done with this franchise until Snyder decides to sell the team or Cerrato is fired which will never happen. Something tells me that Cerrato is only playing the hand that Snyder is dealing him.
TankRizzo
If Bradford slips and we trade down to acquire more picks, I could see taking him, otherwise, no to a QB.
NewCliche21
Snyder should not be out scouting players damnit THIS is the worst part. It shows that even if we get a real GM, then Snyder's still involved. Snyder, just shut the **** up, sit on your billion dollars, and let a real GM make you more. HigSkin
This part interests me more than the silly McCoy and Clausen chatter... The Redskins would have to tender Campbell a contract to receive draft compensation if he signed elsewhere. Washington also could place the franchise or transition tags on Campbell instead of tendering him, but they are not expected to make either of those moves. Campbell's minimum tender amount would be $3.14 million, according to a league source familiar with his contract situation. If the Redskins increased the offer to $3.268 million, they would first- and third-round compensation. Campbell has a salary of a little more than $2.857 million this season. addicted
Good move Fans have to start to realize that finding a QB who can throw between the 20's is pretty easy to do. That's what Jason is, he's not a closer, he's not a game winning QB, he doesn't score enough points peroid. I know that last week he threw 3 TD passes in a game but did you know in 50 games he's been able to do that just 1 other time? Did you know in those 50 games he's throw over 300 passing yards, only 6 times? That broken down into percentages is 12% of the time he can throw 300+ yards, 4% of the time he can throw 3 TD's. That's just not good enough. We can't continue to put Jason on the field and hope that he suddenly "gets it". We are 3-9 right now with Jason as the starting QB. If he hadn't have gotten hurt 2 years ago (which when he did go down with injury another QB came in and took the same Jason Campbell led team that was 5-8 at the time to the playoffs) would mean that this is his 3rd season in a row as the starting QB and has never had a single year where he led the team to a winning record. You can't simply waste more time on Jason unless he shows that he can win games. Right now all he's shown is that he is not a winning QB. We need to find us a winning QB. Good move Snyder!
