The Morgan Middle School football team in Ellensburg, Wash., doesn't need a sheet to know when to go for the two-point conversion. It may have a sure-fire play: Just throw it to Brendan Adams. Adams, you see, is 7-foot-4.

That's right; the tallest teen-age boy in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records is playing football this year. In middle school.

Holy crap!! You think Vinny is out scouting him already? lol

I was thinking about this the other day....kinda like how the Bears had the Fridge, a team should hire a giant like that to come in for goalline situations, and just lob a pass to him....how many CB's can jump that high? Not many.

Yeah, so most of the time they would get PI calls. Deadly. But people would be yelling at that team for not being very sporty. Whoever did that would catch a lot of flack.

We still don't know if he can "catch" yet :D

That's a really sad story. He can't even run now because of his arthritis and enlarged joints. Hopefully they can stop it from progressing to the point that he can't survive.

Kids with health problems always make me feel like horse poop. I even work at a hospital and see some crazy stuff that makes me feel bad on a daily basis but when I see kids suffering I feel even worse.

Doctor's in another story I read said he'll be dead in two years unless they can stop his growth. Good to see his out there with his peers having fun.

I've heard that George Allen wanted to sign Andre the Giant to the Redskins as a field goal blocking specialist.

They'd just be mad they hadn't thought of it first. If your team won the Stanley cup because you had a sumo wrestler block the entire goal (plus a couple extra feet in diameter), you'd still have the Stanley cup to your name.
