bigroddy76
What would you do if your a wealthy diehard redskins fan and your son is an awesome football player. He can make it to the nfl, but he can only play for the dallas cowboys.
modazfuk
It wouldn't be about me. If he can earn a good living, on his own, even playing for the enemy, that would be more ideal than being one of those spoiled kids who live off their parents. wysknz1
My son would pull a John Elway....or Eli Manning..... Is he a number one or mr. Irrelavant?
andyburd
He would sign with Dallas, and throw the 2 games a year against us
NewCliche21
To go along with the actual OP's hypothetical, I would support my son. Family > Football, always.
FrFan
He will play for them, and if he has any opportunity will do is best to be traded to the Redskins. If he beats us I'll kick him into orbit so hard he won't stop revolving around planet earth .
Burgold
Well, if I'm wealthy enough. I buy the Cowboys and disband them, then I look at my son with gravest sincerity and say, "Son, I know playing in the NFL is a dream, but I have to look out for your immortal soul." And he would understand.
SMU Redskin
To go along with the actual OP's hypothetical, I would support my son. Family > Football, always. Right on. This is the only way the Skins could ever be unseated as my #1 team- and if my son makes it to the NFL but can't play for the Skins, I'm cool with that. RedBeast
My son asked me a similar question, what would I do for home games if he got drafted by the Dallas Cowboys? I told him I would get a custom made Redskins jersey with his name and number on it. I would root for him to catch the ball, but root for the Skins to win. He was cool with that... Dead Money
We all hear from the players and coaches and owners that football is a business for them... This is where is becomes a business for you and your family.
Laxpunk2006
He would play the best he could for the Dallas Cowboys and I'd cheer him on every game. I'm a Skins fan, but I plan on being a much bigger fan of my son.
terpskins10
I'd still be a 'Skins fan but I would root hard for my son to succeed, even at the expense of my team. We all love football, but as someone already mentioned, family comes first.

I couldn't wear a cowboy jersey sorry. My sons understand I am a diehard Redskins fan.

ThePreciating
I'd want my son to have great games, but I'd want the Redskins to beat his team every single time. If he wants me to root for his team, he can let his contract run out then sign with DC. If he doesn't want to sign with the Redskins, then I kill my wife for cheating on me and claiming he's my son. StepyagameuP
Well then he would be a Cowboy...Cant let Sports Emotions get in the way of real life.
Annonymous Source
I would probably spend the whole season hoping that he didnt get hurt. Also I dont feel that I would have to do any pursuading by that point, no son of mine would tolerate the Dallas Cowboys.
HA1LV1CT0RY
He would sign with Dallas, and throw the 2 games a year against us This. He would demand a trade yearly, and would throw both games against our burgundy and gold boys.
