I can see the NFL allowing corporate sponsorship in the form of patches and logos worn by the players on their uniforms they way they do in soccer, but I don't see NFL teams changing names that have been in place in Chicago, GB, NY, Wash, etc. since the 1930's.

I don't see the patches ever happening. I always look at how cheesey those teams look with those logos on their uniforms. The NFL is the most image conscious of all pro sports orgs.
