Let's hear who you think will get cut...

13 Mathis, Jerome WR 5-11 184 3 Hampton 07-26-1983

16 McMullen, Billy WR 6-4 215 4 Virginia 03-08-1980

19 Mix, Anthony WR 6-5 235 2 Auburn 01-20-1983

89 Moss, Santana WR 5-10 200 7 Miami (Fla.) 06-01-1979

82 Randle El, Antwaan WR 5-10 190 6 Indiana 08-17-1979

Half of those are garbage.

We lost Lloyd, Caldwell, and McCardell.

We were going to draft two WRs in this draft any way.

1. Moss (not exactly the splitting image of durability)

2. Thomas

3. El (injury concerns as well)

4. Kelly (best redzone option at WR we have)

5. Thrash

6. Mix

Thomas probably pushes Mathis off the roster as Thomas can do some return work.

This will be who is left. Lets not forget the team will most likely be carrying 3 TE's now that the skins drafted another TE. Yoder will be kept for blocking situations (ie short-yardage, extra pass protection).

13 Mathis, Jerome WR 5-11 184 3 Hampton 07-26-1983

89 Moss, Santana WR 5-10 200 7 Miami (Fla.) 06-01-1979

82 Randle El, Antwaan WR 5-10 190 6 Indiana 08-17-1979

Kelly, Malcolm WR 6'4" 218 Oklahoma

Thomas, Devin WR 6'2" 215 Michigan State

Mix and Thrash will probably be put on PS

Good deal. This thread meets the rules for starting a new thread today, which are here in the Read Me sticky thread near the top of the page:

http://www.extremeskins.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196989

Though that Read Me was in the forum yesterday and all night, and despite the 15-20 additional warnings given in threads, many have fallen victim to their breathlessness. Congrats to another OP for avoiding that fall. :)

1. Moss

2. ARE

3. Thomas

4. Kelly

5. Mix

That's our WR group. The rest will be cut, with some of the younger guys possibly on the practice squad.

this is what I'm thinking. We all love Thrash, but Zorn is not looking at the roster with the sentimentality that a fan may be.

If Mathis tears it up on KO's, he could be kept as well.

I think that we would probably keep Mix because of his age and his special teams play... Thrash is great, but old. Mix still has time to develope, and especially since now that we have Kelly and Thomas, we're planning for the future at WR also. I like the picks.

Lol...

thats pretty funny but heres your lineup

#1 Santana

#2 Devin Thomas

#3 Randle El

#4 Kelly Malcolm

We drafted and traded up for these recievers for a reason...lets not try to be nice with the scrubs we have left on the team and get rid of thrash

Thrash can't be put on the practice squad.

I'm not even sure if Mix can.

Right. I feel that Mix can become a ST beast like Thrash has been for us. I wish Thrash the best, but his age is becoming a factor, plus I believe his cap number is over $1M.

Like our cuts of Salave'a and Wynn on defense, we have to move on from our older more expensive players.

Devin Thomas can also be a good return man for us. He averaged almost 30 yards/return. Mathis is simply a FA pickup to compete, but don't feel he has as much ability at the WR position itself, why he never really put up many catches.

Of all our WR's the ONLY one with experience in the WCO(from the Holmgren tree nonetheless) is Thrash. Getting rid of him would be a terrible idea. Besides being one of our best STers, we need him to mentor the young guys we've brought in. Thomas, Kelly and Mix can only benefit from having a solid veteran with strong character around.

Thrash would be the least likely of this group to get cut, but I'm still guessing these poor guys are gone.

Mix is gone....the only thing that kept him on the roster was his size...which is now not a unique trait...

He was pretty good on special teams. He could be the new Thrash.
