TheItalianStallion
Which may be our best option with the unknowns at WR. If we need a #3 on game day, we put ARE in. Then we sign an old FA to finish up our miserable, unholy season. Unless Zorn, a QB "guru", is enamored with a late round prospect tomorrow.Or maybe Zorn can put on a uniform again...
#BgMase76#
Somehow Thrash stays on the team. Don't forget the massive game he had against Philly before getting hurt. Then most importantly is special teams. How many times did he get NFC special team player of the week? I'm just wondering really where does this leave Mix? Outside of Moss and ARE (Contract reasons) I really don't see any other WR's that aren't disposable.
testrake
MossThomas Randle El Kelly Mix or Mathis for the 5th spot, depending on special teams play. I think Mix is the keeper, he is in a way a younger Thrash, he can be a situational or fill in receiver but is a good special teams player. Thrash has been a warrior on special teams for a long time and I would love to keep him but in the business of the NFL youth is a factor
bulldog
Mann and McMullen are fodder. So is Toler. Ultimately, Mix's ability to be a performer on special teams will keep him around. That means trouble for James Thrash who is 34 years old. We need to get younger overall and Mix has some upside as a WR as well as special teamer.
