hobbie8046
Did you really just say you want Porter and then call Chad 'Ocho Stinko?' Also it's probably been said before but Porter is from NoVa.
ware2006
ON NLF LIVE, they're interviewing WR Porter and he's talking about his free agent options... They called him "a RAIDER FOR NOW..."This guy is practically BEGGING for us to notice him! He would definitely fill the "big receiver" need... And he's a FREE AGENT, so no trade bait (like OCHO SDTINKO)... Now that we're getting the restructure process going, we'll have cap room too!! Porter is from DC we went to high school in DC in my old neiborhood
One Shot
What stands out to me about Jerry Porter is the bull **** I kept hearing he pulled back when Aaron Brooks was QB. Sounded like a real dick......but who knows, the media loves the issues.
Stone Cold
pass. another high-ceiling talent that let his "head" stunt his professional maturity
[[ghost]]
How tall is he? Is he fast? I know he had a pretty nice TD catch against some opponent this year, but I forget who. I wouldn't mind, if he came for cheap.
dcnativenerd
Well, as a huge Nats fan... That's all I wanted to say. GO NATS!
StillUnknown
i don't want him. he always came off to me as the type of player that was satisfied with having "potential" and trying to cash in on that instead of getting better.
The Full Monty
All I can think about is Sean Taylor LAYING HIM OUT in 2005, that was a nasty, nasty hit. It was - but unlike Patrick Crayton - Jerry Porter held on to the ball. Props to him for that.
turbodiesel#44
I saw several of our players wearing Yankees hats during the year. Does that mean they're wanting to play for Jets or Giants?I gotta get me a Maria Sharipova hat.
SKINS FAN #56
I'm sure he can think of better ways for us to notice him.
TotalRecall
WR Porter He would definitely fill the "big receiver" need... Porter is 6'2" and 220 lbs. He has the weight, but not the height. The linemen are taller than him. Can we please get a tall WR? At least, 6'4".
Jahbird
Man the naivete on this board sometimes...The Nats hat is a best seller on the west coast, see if you can figure out why. Hint. its just as popular in red as in blue. Double hint, the W doesnt just stand for washington, it also could be for West, as in west coast. Do I think that Porter is a blood or a crip? Am I suggesting that Porter would in anyway wish to associate himself with or glorify gangs? I am not...However, the hat doesnt sell like wildfire on the west coast becuase california is full of Nats fans.

pscsean
I mentioned in another post earlier that I would love to bring him in along with some other options to see who emerges as the playmaker, but you can't read too much into the Nats hat. He's from DC. Product of Coolidge HS. COOOOOOOOOLIDGE representin!:applause:
buckeyeG
If the skins could pull off something like the pat's did when they picked up Randy Moss for a 6th round pick,I'd be all for that. I really do not want to see the skins waaaayyy over pay for anyone.
NavyDave
I have a Red Nationals Hat with the W because I like states that are red and like some of the things done by Dubba ya. And I'll root for the Nats. They don't have to win right off the bat for me to be a fan but I'll be happy if they perform better than expected this year
jivelikenice
i find it interesting that people talk so much crap about chad johnson being a cancer, selfish, etc but they want joey porter on their team? Porter whines about everything and is the complete opposite of a team player. too much baggage. let him stay in oakland He had one season of off field problems under Art Shell. Considering how bad things were there on offense withthe line and the play calling, you have to throw that season out. If he had done it before or after it would be a different story but that was the only time I've heard of him having issues off the field.
DMBAdict04
I looked through the entire thread to find no picture. Unfortunate but thats cool, I don't know much about him (being completely honest).
jobedoza
LOL. Actually watching this interview now. Seriously, nothing should be made of this. He's from the DC area. He's probably wearing a hat because he forgot to comb his hair. That's why I wear my Nats hat.
AceSkinsFan
Has this guy done anything since he decided to pout and sit out most of the season a couple years ago? I think I'd have to take a pass on a guy who sits just because he doesn't like the coach. There are better receivers out there with much less problems.
