Toe Jam
I'm guessing this is bad news for G. Williams. Hopefully I'm wrong. Bad news for Williams and good news for Fassel. The dictator of the Washington Redskins has just arrived. Welcome to football communism!
Koolblue13
You guys wanted a GM so damn bad. Now you got one. I don't see what the big deal is. So Vinny has a title now, it's not like anything has changed, at all.
Horatio
4 VINNY CERRATO NAMED EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT http://blog.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/2008/01/vinny_is_the_man.html#comments Be afraid, Skins fans. Be very afraid.... That is the first sign of the Apocalypse. So NOW who is going to make Danny's coffee???
TheLongshot
The job description is that of a General Manager without the title. He is doing everything a GM does including picking the coach and personnel. Actually, Vinny doesn't have the power to pick the coach. Thats a power Snyder reserves for himself. The good thing is, we'll see how much Vinny actually has, rather than having him hide behind others. To be fair, no one outside of the organization really knows how good of a job he's doing, becuase of all the other problems this organization has had. How much of his failures under Spurrier and how much of the successes under Gibbs were his responsibility? Hard to say. Now, we get to see. SackMachine
After having taken too much time to make their pick, thus losing their spot.. With the #22 pick in the 2008 Draft, the Washington Redskins select Ron Ron. Ron Ron is a 3 foot tall offensive guard.

RFKFedEx
B/c Vinny has remained the one constant throughout Snyder's reign in Redskins land. Adam Arch, B. Lloyd, TJ Duckett, Bailey/Portis 2nd rounder, Lavar contract, Deion Sanders, Jeff George, countless sqaundered draft picks and lopsided contacts, and a costant struggle to stay under the cap. If our system "aint broke" then why are we the only club in the league to follow this model?   If it's not Vinny making those decisions then I guess he doesn't deserve the heat. Shadowplay
I think most fans view Vinny as a no talent hack whose qualifications and track record do not provide a justification for his seemingly resilient nature in the midst of all the chaos that has happened with the Redskins since the jerk off became the owner.
