Pac would destroy Mayweather. Skip is right; Floyd is a chicken.

Nobody is destroying Mayweather, his defense is too good to allow that to happen. Pac may win, but it definitely would not be destruction

And you probably should have stopped at "Skip is right"

Gamboa gets dropped a lot for a guy with "elite" talent.

Pac would destroy Mayweather, like the way Mayweather clowned JMM, the fighter Pac can't seem to do well against?

Mayweather vs. Pac is long gone from being the fight we should have all seen in 2008/09/10. Bob Arum is what has been holding the fight up, because Mayweather and Pac themselves seem to agree on the terms everytime, and then something mysteriously comes up in the 11th hour of negotiations, and it is Arum refusing to let the fight happen.

Pac was Arum's meal ticket, and he could not afford for any of his luster to go away. Then he signs Bradley, and you see how he does the Don King "step over the loser, to raise the winner's hand" move, and suddenly he has his new guy that is younger. He is smart enough to know Pac can ride out the rest of his career fighting whoever, and his name value alone will sell tickets, meanwhile he signs a young guy, the new champ, to a contract and has his new meal ticket.

It's politics, and 99.9% of the time they can be traced directly back to the promoters. Mayweather left Arum high and dry years ago when he realized Arum was ripping him off big time, and Arum refuses to do anything that would financially benefit Mayweather.

I guarantee if Pac-Man finally just had enough of Arum, and left him, that Pac/Mayweather would be signed, sealed and delivered within 48 hours.

Here is a stream for the UK broadcast of the fight. I highly recommend it over the HBO telecast which is full of guys who have "interests" in pushing the status quo. During Pac/JMM 3 you'd think each broadcasting team was watching a completely different fight, and if you ask me, I trust the network w/o ties to the promoter a lot more to call an even fight.

Can't see this fight going the distance at this pace, somebody will drop.

It only took 4 fights, but it looks like Pac has finally figured out JMM.

lol...such an overreaction.

JMM and Mayweather are totally different fighters, no way to make that judgement based off this.

JMM is more offensive, but Mayweather is far more accurate. They are both counter punchers by nature. Floyd would see and capitalize on the same openings. I doubt he drops Pac like that, but Floyd would tag him often.

Yeah, Floyd doesn't have nearly the power.

He would do what he typically does and bob and weave *very* effectively while sticking, but he isn't going to knock him out.

Yeah, Manny should retire. Shame that fight never happened when they were both in their prime.

Is Floyd still in jail?

Not at the moment... :)

They are both counterpunches by nature, except Mayweather is faster, sneakier, more technical, stronger, etc etc....did you watch Mayweather vs. JMM in 2008? JMM was clowned, badly. And this is when JMM was worth a damn and not fighting bloated at 2 weight divisions too high.
