CGSKINS
the only throwbacks i know of are all of the throws to the back of the end zone for steve smith. have some faith. I think this is a trap game for the panthers.
GOSKINS_08
What do you guys think about the NFL requiring teams to wear throwbacks on Turkey Day weekend? Not that it is, but would you support that? I would like for the Skins to wear throwbacks
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
have some faith. I think this is a trap game for the panthers. theres no faith with this defense man. each week i wait for them to wake up, and they never do. i hope to eat my words, but i severely doubt it. theyre gonna trounce the hell out of us. smith will have at least 150 yards, and if our run D looks like it did last week, deangelo williams will look like the second coming of barry sanders. how glad are you guys that were not playing the chargers? roanoker
Dont know if it is required. It would be pretty neat if every team had to do it once a year.
corsair_joe
do we even have an approved throwback uniform for this season?
MonkFan8
I'd love to see throwbacks. I doubt they'll wear them, though.
CowboysForLife
Dont know if it is required. It would be pretty neat if every team had to do it once a year. It's not required. I wish it was. Traditional jerseys would give the game more mystique.

BuryYourDuke
I think if we have throwback uniforms we should have throwback equipment as well. Let's see these guys go head to head with no facemasks, and leather shoulder pads. Also, let's go with throwback rules...no forward passes today Saunders! PS if you think I'm serious, do yourself a favor and go shoot yourself b/c you don't deserve to live.

At this point, I'm thankful I get to go sit down in FedEx this Sunday, and watch one of the great coaches of all time do what he loves. We may not be able to watch him for very much longer guys, time to savor every minute. And throwbacks would be SWEET!!!
dceezown
if so what will the panthers wear? hopefully not their birthday suit.
chipman5544
If the Skins do wear a throwback they have to wear the yellow helmets and yellow pants. I think those were the coolest jereys the skins had. i think it was 1971 right after Lombardi died.
stwasm
The only time I remember them doing that was when they played the Cowboys on Thanksgiving a few years ago.
chipman5544
yeah the year Wuerffel threw the interception at our own one yard line. Nice move there Spurrier. To be honest we've had bad luck with the throwback uni's, but yet again the Skins haven't had much luck at all lately, yet again in the past 15 years. NewCliche21
the only throwbacks i know of are all of the throws to the back of the end zone for steve smith. Not funny. Forced. Irrelevant. A stretch at best. Stupid. I'll try and think of some more ways to describe that post, and then I'll come back later.
RedskinsFan28
so i guess saying i want white cleats back will add even more fuel to this long burning uni-fire?

KingGibbs
J/K But, being old school it was good to see the burgandy pants back again. It actually caught me by surprise.
TD_washingtonredskins
I wanted to say something similar but was afraid to start a uniform thread. I'm glad that we switched back (and I hope it's permanant) because I'd like to remember the white-on-whites fondly as our 2005 playoff run uniforms! jmj086
That was a great effort, in a hard fought, low-scoring game. And, yes, they looked liked their classic selves with the return of the burgundy pants.
SMOSS89
Who knew the final part of playing Redskins football was simply wearing the burgandy pants again????? Oh yeah, and the whole running the ball and stopping the run part lol  But honestly, just when you think this defense would absolutely crumble in the face of adversity, gossip, and turmoil, they use it to come together. What a statement this team showed. It is a bit frustrating that its 11 games in we finally played good football all across the board, but I'd actually be more content knowing we "have the team" rather than having to try and rehaul the entire team in the offseason.
