Chachie
Overeem over Mir, who's over and out. Aldo over Lamas because I'm not very familiar with Lamas. And Aldo's awesome. Uriah shocks Planet Earth tonight by flash-subbing Barao in 3.
StillUnknown
All the prelim fights went to decision, nothing really exciting either. The main card looks good top to bottom though.
NoCalMike
Overeem's problem is figuring out how to pace himself and handle his opponent if they manage to weather the storm. His last two fights he was laying the wood to both of them for a good amount of the time, but once those storms didn't result in a win, he didn't seem to know what to do and let both of them back into the fight. Faber, I just hope taking the fight on short notice doesn't do anything to him mentally. He's a tough dude but sometimes I wonder when guys take a fight on short notice, especially coming off another fight, if their mindset naturally switches from "murder mode" to "well, I should get credit simply for taking this fight" OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH MY GOD. So there are multiple zombies in the UFC I see.
StillUnknown
well that first fight was one of the best things I've seen in some time first contender for Fight of the Year

StillUnknown
Mir survived round 1, but I don't think Reem is gassed. 1st round should be 10-8 Reem
lovetoaster
I am shocked Frank made it out of that first round. Good for him for not giving up, but Overeem is going to be pretty fresh because for once, he did not gas himself out in the first.
CRobi21
Overeem just man handling Mir. Damn. Mirs got a nasty knot on his forehead. Edited February 2, 2014 by STBonecrusher21
StillUnknown
Never saw this going to the 3rd, but Reem is dominating. 20-17 Reem
lovetoaster
Yeah, I don't think many people bet on Overeem by decision. I wonder where we will see Frank fighting next. I don't think it will be in the UFC.
NoCalMike
Mir's face looks like the broken-bloody faces of the losers on the Street Fighter II Game Over screen. Overeem looked pretty decent when having an actual gameplan that wasn't wreckless. He still managed to landed a good number of vicious strikes, but he wasn't just going in there to slug it out for 3 minutes.
StillUnknown
30-27 on all scorecards MMA judges don't like to give that 10-8 round. Round 1 was clear as day, round 3 probably qualified as well.

Yeah, I am surprised that at least one or two judges did not at least give the first round a 10-8. Because that was a pretty clear example of one to me. #98QBKiller
I think Overeem would've won his last two fights if he were as composed as he was tonight.
StillUnknown
If Aldo wins, we most likely get that fight with Pettis at 155lbs. Which probably means Aldo is doomed, we can't get superfights between fighters at their respective peaks.
Dr. Do Itch Big
lol, either fight makes no sense. fight guy you tko or fight guy who koed you. Bigfoot fight makes more sense then Lesnar.
