Chachie
I've given Penn the 1st, 2nd, and 4th rounds. He looks tired going into the 5th. Edited April 10, 2010 by Chachie
StillUnknown
this could be a fight in which the final score doesnt reflect how close the fight actually was
d0ublestr0ker0ll
Man, this is definitely surprising me. BJ has been brought in to the same world as Sherk did. It's 90% a boxing match.

Chachie
I gave Edgar the 3rd and 5th. I have no idea what the judges have done. We'll see....

Chachie
BJ knew it. You could see it on his face as he waited for the decision.
Sebowski
Wow. That is exactl;y what I was afraid of. Edgar out boxed him for 25 minutes. I don't know why BJ doesn't initiate the clinches, scrambles, and takedowns.
StillUnknown
one judge gave all 5 rounds to edgar? please pass me what he was smoking great win for edgar if anyone had the guts to bet on Edgar, they are a very rich person right now Edited April 10, 2010 by StillUnknown

#98QBKiller
Yeah whoever gave all 5 rounds to Edgar is on drugs, but I have to say I'm not surprised he took the decision.

If that was a title-taking victory, I don't know what being a champion means. But I stand by my post that BJ knew he lost. Also- Is anyone else but me going to believe in Frankie Edgar now? :pfft:

Chachie
Gotta give it up to you Chach. I gave myself carpal tunnel syndrom trying to describe all the advantages BJ had. However, I contend that BJ didn't get in shape for this fight. Flat-out. He was sluggish after 3. Edgar was tough to figure out but BJ tried to win on his heavy hands alone and played right into Frankie's cardio game. Just like Sherk did. I don't want to make excuses for BJ, but that knee brace was concerning. And I reiterate that BJ, as tough as it is to tell, just didn't seem as shredded and slim as he usually does at 155. That said, he was still game. He woulda caught anybody else with his hands tonight. Frankie is the truth, sorry Vera.
