d0ublestr0ker0ll
Okay, I'm thinking upsets here. BJ TKOs Rory in round 1, Shogun over Gustaffson via KO, Diaz subs Henderson in round 2.

CRobi21
Rory had BJ heard baaaad there. And didn't go for the finish.

When was the last time BJ was wobbled that badly by a strike?
StillUnknown
This was an easily predictable fight.
Samuels
BJ is like a midget fighting at 170 retire already or gtf in shape and fight
Destino
Penn looked like he cracked a rib in the 2nd round.
StillUnknown
That being said, Rory not finishing this fight is somewhat of a disappointment. I expected more.
TheGoodBits
That being said, Rory not finishing this fight is somewhat of a disappointment. I expected more. Was thinking the same. Between wobbling him in the 1st and the rib in the 2nd, he had his chances. Just coasted through the 3rd though.
Samuels
That being said, Rory not finishing this fight is somewhat of a disappointment. I expected more. BJ has I think the best chin Mma has ever seen. But ts time BJ don't be a gatekeeper
TheGoodBits
BJ is like a midget fighting at 170 retire already or gtf in shape and fight 155 Yep. Penn might not be able to beat anyone at 170 at this point in his career. Work your ass off, get to 155, get a win, and retire with some pride. NoCalMike
Rory looked very good tonight, but lets be honest, thus far his two most impressive wins are over two guys who should never be fighting at 170. Penn & Nate Diaz. Condit vs. Rory is a better match. Once GSP holds Nick Diaz down in a "dominant position" for 5 rounds, I'd LOL if UFC tries to make Rory & GSP happen.....the uneasiness of the lead up to that fight would be epic. d0ublestr0ker0ll
I did not expect Rory to kickbox the **** out of BJ. Saw him using striking to set up takedowns. Che Mills tagged Rory a few times before he was taken down and smashed. Thought BJ's hands would get through what seemed like mechanical standup from Rory. Rory's striking was on full display tonight, BJ closes shop after the 1st round like nobody's business.
ixcuincle
Rory was a bit classless tonight, but still got the win Good for him
NoCalMike
Mike Goldberg calling Rory's win a "changing of the guard" is laughable. The changing of the guard was Edgar beating Penn twice. That was the end of Penn as an elite fighter. I suppose Penn should move up to 185 and get slaughtered by Wieman for the next changing of the guard? StillUnknown
Shogun getting worked over. ---------- Post added December-8th-2012 at 09:35 PM ---------- Not seeing much from Gus that makes me think he could challenge Jones. He hasn't faced a wrestler since he got submitted by Davis.

BJ Penn has no business fighting at that weight class, GSP man handled him to the point of throwing in the towel. As you said the change was when Edgar took everything Penn had and gave it back with interest. Twice.
StillUnknown
This main event is the only fight I had a hard time picking. Still going with Nate by decision, but Benson always surprises me.
CoolHandLuke
I'll take Benson Henderson. I can't stand the Diaz brothers. Benson is an All-American wrestler. I don't think Diaz stands a chance.
