ntotoro
There was really nothing to worry about. Even though our Offense wasn't dominant, the Bears had nothing at all for our Defence. Our lack of points wasn't going to turn them into an Offensive juggernaut in their last posession.
Ricky Ervins
I completely envisioned kyle orton on the frontpage of espn.com proclaiming him the second coming after a rookie drove his team for the winning score in his first start. fuji869
To be honest I get a bit Norvus when we had to punt with under 2 mins left. I was getting flash back of Dallas last December.
marsbennett
Thank your lucky stars Jeff Blake was on the bench and you faced a rookie.
Spaceman Spiff
Washington Redskins: Finding new ways to lose since 1993. Yes, I thought they were going to drive.
PCS
Nope. No Norvousness here.
The Bounty Hunter #21
The idea is always in the back of my mind...ever since last years game with Dallas....
ironmic
It seemed like a typical Redskins loss. When Matt Bowen dropped the INT on their first play of that final drive, I was convinced that we would lose. I could just see Orton hitting a lucky pass to Muhammed to put them in FG range. same here!
jrockster21
The defense obviously had Orton and the Bears on lockdown. There was approximately 0.0000000000000000225 chance of the Bears scoring.... I was NOT worried. At all.
Skinsfan1311
I can't lie...I was ****tin' bricks....that kind of thing seemed to happen way too much, over these past couple of years.....
skinsmania123
Absolutely. When I saw the play calls on our side on offense prior to the Bears getting the ball back, I thought that Gibbs should have thrown it just once to get another 1st down if he had so much confidence in his boy, Mark/Scott Brunnel. But he didn't. So it seemed just so typical of our past, to see the little rookie march down the field and win by one for the Bears.
riggins44
After watching the Bears have three consecutive false starts on the previous drive, I wasn't worried. I have faith in our D. A game winning drive by a rookie QB in his first game, on the road at FedEX...no worries here.
DialSux
was it gibbs' confidence in our defense or his lack of confidence in our offense that dictated his last set of playcalling on offense? maybe a little of both?
[[ghost]]
with our D back there? heeelll no
Chachie
It very much seemed as though the Bears would drive into field goal range and pull out a squeaker. Our defense WAS fantastic yesterday, but on Chicago's last few drives, they were constantly able to convert on 3rd down. this was KILLING me. We got the stop and got the win. Now we have to find a way into the end zone....... in Dallas.
Leonard Washington
i was just glad it wasn't us who had to drive down the field to score.
Kilmer
I certainly did. And I don't think I will watch the Monday night game. I will TiVo it and watch if a miracle happens and we win.
intheRIC
I wasn't worried because they couldn't put anything together. BUT I sure as hell wasn't leaving my seat in the stadium.
Hail_to_Kessel
Who, like me, thought the Bears were going to drive into FG range and kick the game winner with no time left? I thought it was going to happen. The reason is, how many times did it happen to us last year? a couple times? When we get the ball with 5 minutes left in the game, we have to get FIRST DOWNS! It seemed like last year, we'd be up by 2 or 6 with 5 minutes left, go 3 and out and end up losing the game on the final play. I really was biting my nails when they got the ball back. Thank god our defense stepped it up and the crowd caused the bears to fall start a couple times.
redskin48
I agree leave it to the D.
hokie4redskins
I definitely couldn't help but think about that scary possibility, but who didn't? I had faith though.

bigpoppa
I was concerned ,I mean look at where they had the ball. If it wasn't for the penalties (which was all the crowd) they probably would have.
chef8181
Were they not on our 40 yard line before they self destructed? All they needed was 10-15 more yards for a FG try so yes I was nervous.
gridironmike
Our D was stiff all day. They had no chance. The crowd helped with the three false start penalties and the rest was history.
