    I saw the special Netflix. The guy is brilliant. I remember watching his first special almost a decade a go, and thought he a was a genius then. The way he intertwines music and comedy with dark commentary on society is next-level. One of my all-time favorite bits of his is “Repeat Stuff”

    While that is true, and I don't have any empirical evidence to back it up, but I'm willing to bet a little more than half of NY's Jewish population is pretty progressive, non-secular, and aren't fans of the current Israeli regime. This is gonna hurt him in the eyes of the many progressives in NYC, Jewish or not.

    Not a good look for Yang to be congratulated by Stephen Miller and Ted Cruz. The left doesn’t forget things like this. Very very disappointed in him, I was a fan of his progressive ideas as candidate but he basically nuked himself in my eyes

    Over the last few years or so, it seems Snyder is damn near invincible. I'd love to see a new owner more than anyone else here, but I'll believe it until I see it. And even then I'd have to slap, pinch, fall asleep and wake up several times just to be sure

    Just picked up Mortal Kombat 11 for PC. Got it dirt cheap from g2a.com and felt festive with the movie reboot. Solid addition to the MK franchise, and really tightened the combat up from MKX

    I'm actually pretty hyped for this movie. I was 4 years old when this trailer dropped for the first game in 1992: I remember it like yesterday. My parents got me a Sega Genesis, and the original MK was the first video game I ever owned, and I owe MK to the reason why I'm such a major gamer now. The 90's was truly a wonderful time to be a kid. and MK will always hold a special place in my heart. I hope this can finally break the bad-video-game-film mold.

    Any armed militant that shows up needs to be perceived as an immediate threat. They need to get the word out across all national media that that any armed insurgency would be taken as a a terror threat and be shot on site. Give them the warning now.

    If war is what they're looking for, then they should be met with lethal force by the national guard, military, police... whomever. If you ever want to return back to normalcy, they need to suffer ultimate consequences and be made an example of, or they will continue to keep coming back. No more playing patty-cake with far-right extremists.

    Stick with Heinicke for another year and draft an un-polished rookie with high upside like Desmond Ridder in the low-mid rounds.

    Got a 1070 Ti and a i7 9700k and cyberpunk is straight clapping my system’s cheeks. Had to tweak a lot of settings just to get 60 FPS and still have an enjoyable viewing experience.

    Some buddies and I are doing a month-long "Spooktober" where we all each pick a horror flick for to us watch during the week. First time ever seeing The Thing. I know, I've been slacking, but wow, what a great movie! I now understand the cult following. So many great theories, not to mention the epic main musical theme.
