  1. I'd take him on the field on that Hail Mary vs the Saints over Collins.
  2. Stubblefield was the 90s. Hatcher and Richardson are two good additions to the list.
  3. Norman was paid like the best corner in the league, had one good year where he was average. Randle El was a slot receiver before it was a staple of the offense - not on the field that much - and the ST impact never carried over outside a couple nice plays. Collins is worse, but he and Norman are comparable to me.
  4. To be fair he squeaks in. Deion Haynesworth Archuleta Landon Norman Trotter Jeff George Randle El Barrow Brandon Lloyd Bruce Smith Who am I missing?
  5. Got so much money he can live in his own dream world and put up the blinders. One of the top 5 worst signings of this century for Washington.
  6. NY media propping him up as really good cannot be overlooked.
  7. Yeah, for those paying attention, Apke has been outstanding. Totally believe the ST coach that he may be the best gunner in the league.
  8. Gano was clearly talented. He has been the only kicker I regret them losing in the last 20 years.
  9. The last three weeks his snaps have reduced and last game I didn't see him cover deep. Saw Hudson our there more. It is happening.
  10. See above. The point was that a QB that is considered a top 5 pick in his class needs to be an option at #2OA. The rarity of securing a pick that high in the draft necessitates that strategy. Chase Young + QB Herbert + R1 DE + R1 LB + R1 CB If Chase doesn't become dominant - one of the consensus best defensive players in the league - this hurts the team for years because they will likely have to use draft capital. The team won't pile up compensatory picks, and they had a draft pick deficit that they couldn't get out of for the longest time post RGIII. Heaven forbid you trade up for a flop at QB and you basically assume the next 3-4 years are almost a lost cause.
  11. Herbert was the better prospect to me, and I think I've previously shown in this thread he was widely considered top 5 pre-draft by analysts and draftniks. Dolphins making a bad pick wasn't shocking at the time. Yes, this franchise has a reputation for making the bad choice, so you could be right?
  12. Maxx Crosby level is where he should be right now. He's getting the music and sounds like the coaches are helping him and some glimpses of improved technique. We'll see...but right now, very clearly the wrong pick for the franchise. 1) Herbert + pass rusher 2) Young + QB at the top of the draft The cost of getting to the top QBs of the draft - where you have to be to get a QB - has already been witnessed by this fanbase. It may cost three 1sts to get the next QB. Hindsight makes it a strategic miss, salvaged only by a dominant career.
  13. Yeah, they're too low on Roullier, McKissic, Holcomb and Payne. Too high on Allen and Young.
  14. Fitzpatrick is better than this of course there is a reason to play him when he's healthy. Unless they're tanking, I don't see why you stick with a back-up QB when Fitz has been an average/below-average starter. Like I said before, I think the thicker the book on TH the worse this'll get. Particularly with some cold weather games.
  15. Yeah ..to me, that's a super-obvious post-game where you have to put it on your shoulders as the leader of the offense who didn't get it done. Quite obtuse. Oh, have they ever.
  16. WJ3 stunk today. Just an awful game from him and probably the reason they lost as bad as they did on D. Heinicke was also trash. Whoever said wait until he plays an awful defense to judge him...this was that game. The team that was allowing Greatest Show on turf numbers just shutdown Heinicke. Ready for Fitz. Heinicke is a back-up. Dyami Brown was uninspiring. Collins barely used and as a LB was nice to see. Fuller had a few gaffs, but had a handful of excellent plays. On the whole a really good game from your CB2. Holcomb had a really good game, and McClain was much better.
  17. Sure. Not great though. Lattimore is top of the line. With Lattimore getting his hands on a half dozen throws - and I think he could have played better - that should now be the expectation for every top corner: the chance at a multi-pick game. It basically makes Terry a non-factor. Your top 10 WR can be 'covered' by a top 30 CB. Maybe give up a couple of TDs, but you'll get the turnovers and timely stops with poor QB play.
  18. Bad defenses that are beginning to have success against him. It was like the 3rd quarter and Lattimore had 5 PDs. The good D's will eat him alive now that there's enough tape.
  19. I agree, to an extent. I'm actually pretty okay with Schweitzer and Lucas on the right side. Terry playing is key, but I also don't expect a good offensive performance, so may be moot.
  20. Hasn't been around the ball or made too many tackles for this to be significant.
  21. I don't think he's making the correct reads, per se. Plenty of good examples of short routes where you have McLaurin or Humphries open and he just doesn't recognize it. I think those two were visibly frustrated with how Heinicke was playing/throwing.
  22. You see, but the thing is...it wasn't just bad, it was awful. That was Heinicke's come back down to earth game. He's got a back-up calibre arm and makes Favre type decisions and he misses the open read alarmingly often. I'm ready for the Fitzmagic.
