  1. If it is frustrating to watch Preston Smith play so well after we let him go I can't imagine the sight of Montez Sweat terrorizing our QBs as he suits up for the Eagles. He has one asset that is essential, speed. He can run down plays from the backside, this is not measured in the sack totals but it's very important.
  2. If you consider that a personal attack then your skin is too thin my friend. It has already been explained why so many are upset with Montez. When you reference him going round licking people, as if that is in any way relevant to the conversation, I stand by my comment that you really do not know what you are talking about.
  3. He is about to miss his second game due to COVID. This would not be the case had he been vaccinated, this is the NFL policy and he knew this when he made the decision. That's what people are most pissed about, the Allen positive is just one more reason to be upset with but we really do not know that he was the source.
  4. You should have just stopped here because you really do have no idea what you are talking about.
  5. I'm extremely pissed at Montez as well for being so ignorant and selfish. But no way do I want to trade him. He's not even played 3 full seasons and has already shown at times to be a real difference maker. You don't find pass rushers so easily and he has that unique skill.
  6. Boy I don't know about that. It's a stretch to say he has an "OK arm". By NFL standards he clearly has the weakest arm of all the 32 starters. Someone mentioned Drew Brees, TH's accuracy is not even in the same universe as Drew Brees.
  7. I believe it's time @ODU AGGIEreturns to Witness Protection, at least for a week.
  8. I think it's great that fans are so optimistic, that they are still playing meaningful games this late in the season. But I don't see this one. Dallas has too many weapons and will put up points where Washington's offense simply can't keep up. 31-17 Dallas.
  9. I am all for rolling with TH next year and still looking for an upgrade. Hard pass on Rodgers/Wilson or trading huge draft capital to force a QB pick in a weak QB class.
  10. No I understand what you are saying, and belief is critical in the locker room. That does not mean TH gets a pass for essentially throwing the game away with a horrible decision only to be bailed out by the drop. A pass Kirk never got from the fans for doing the exact same thing.
  11. So because he is liked and Kirk was not (allegedly) Taylor gets a pass for that horrible decision on the dropped interception? I don't see it that way at all, we can't just pretend that throw didn't happen.
  12. Kirk would have been destroyed if he threw a pick on the final drive. Hell he would have been lit up had it been dropped. We can't just pretend a terrible decision in the final minute of a 1 pt game didn't happen.
  13. Thank you for making the exact point I have made numerous times when the need for a franchise QB is discussed. Posters trot out the names like Dilfer, then totally ignore me when I pointed out they are all one and done and never get close again.
  14. He's an easy guy to get behind but I find it interesting that people are overlooking that Kirk like INT that was dropped on the final drive. That ball is caught and this conversation is a bit different.
  15. This is exactly how I feel. I watched Chase basically every snap, the claim that he is constantly double teamed is nonsense. I also agree on the "win rate". We all saw the games and he was no getting close enough to make a play so this "win rate" is nonsense to me.
  16. Man that play drove me crazy. I said to my puppy, who was the only one in the room, that Wilson is going to do a QB draw right up the middle. So the team is winning and Collins and Fuller have started to play well. I surely never expected this, guess I'll have to start watching again after they had been relegated to what they showed on Red Zone for the past few weeks.
  17. I could not believe how many plays were just stopped cold by a Seattle tackle. Plays that looked good ended suddenly at the point of contact. I was very impressed with their tackling. I sure wanted them to try Way on what was essentially an extra point. But damned how in the world did they overturn that TD catch by Thomas, what a great play that was.
  18. I'm not sure fumbling and failing to realize you need to stay in bounds in the final minutes can be called a sophomore slump but I guess everyone has a different definition.
  19. I don't see him as as valuable on 3rd down as a guy like McKissic. Gibson dropped a lot of passes, which is odd as he played receiver, and he isn't that small guy able to make quick cuts like a traditional 3rd down back. I think his role will be as the primary RB, he has shown that ability if he learns to hang on to the ball and shows more game awareness.
  20. I saw Cam having a good game, and he did have a good game. Just like in NE he will play well, for a time By the end of December it will be clear why he was home eating cereal until a few weeks ago. I fully expected him to lead Carolina down the field for the winning TD, just so thankful that didn't happen. I hate that guy and always did.
  21. Such a frustrating player, when he ran out of bounds I wanted to throttle him. Patterson has been a disappointment once the real games began and I just don't trust Gibson not to fumble or make a knucklehead play.
  22. I have been asking why TH does not make more plays with his legs, it's one of his biggest weapons. I was glad to see him finally do it late in the game but am left to wonder what took so long. I get they want to protect him but he has had the chance to make so many more plays, instead he stays in the pocket like he's Peyton Manning.
  23. Great post KDawg, agree with every word. I'll as ask again, what is happening with Congress and the NFL investigation?
  24. The only way I can see Jason Wright's comments are accurate is he is comparing this year with last season and an empty stadium. Otherwise his comment is insulting. So anyway what is happening with Congress and the investigation? Last I heard the NFL failed to meet the deadline that was weeks ago. Suddenly the story is losing momentum, just as the team and the league had hoped.
