Well the news has been out for several days, it's now not news, and we didn't really hear of any other fanbases standing up about it. No this remains a Commanders problem only, didn't make a ripple nationally.

The lack of responses here to this AB news I think is telling. A month ago we saw a lot more activity in this thread. This entire story continue to fall off the radar, even here.

I came here to judge the reaction after seeing this news. I do believe this is significant but is it a league problem or just a Washington problem? The way to get change is for league sponsors to tell the NFL they are leaving and why. But this is still big news.

I'm not sure why the name Wentz did not come up much before this move. . We should have anticipated this, we all knew Indy was moving on This was always more realistic than Carr, who I do not believe will be traded, or Watson, Rodgers etc. and those were the names we've been talking about. Personally I saw a 2nd for Jimmy G but this was also an obvious possibility that we missed. Ron knew guys like Tribusky, Winston etc suck and are never going to be the answer. So he got a QB who at least showed he can be good at one time, something those last 2 guys have never shown.

So no talk of the report that Washington offered 5 firsts and Seattle rejected it because they feared the Washington Commanders in their conference with no first for 5 years? I don't see Drew Lock as having any more value than Taylor Heineke. If anything Heinke has a better NFL resume. I don't understand why people think the Raiders will part ways with Carr. What upgrade is now available on the market? Watson. That's it, that's the list. Why would they trade their QB with so much uncertainty surrounding Watson?

One of the victims on Twitter is thinking he got paid a big check to not tell his story. That would make a lot of sense to me. That's where I am. I declared here a few months ago that I was done, I just can't support a team owned by these horrible people any more. And I am committed to that, I stay here to get info about this whole thing and holding out a slim hope that he will be removed. That hope gets slimmer by the day.

Well glad he is gone, and I did edit my post although he had quoted it. Sorry for the violation mods, this is over thankfully. But still pretty disturbing that he could dig in so hard on his stance. Have we not learned anything these past few years? This only shows that we have a long way to go.

The Random Thought Thread Vol 2---Read OP For Thread Rules
Darrell Green Fan replied to Jumbo's topic in The Tailgate
I drive Uber in retirement. My routine now is to get up, have a cookie or a handful of grapes and sit and sip coffee online all morning. I get hungry but just don't seem too motivated to get up. So I eat breakfast typically around 10:30-11:00 and then my big meal before I drive at around 4. This cuts my meals to only 2 and I have lost 15 pounds,I believe this makes me the first person in history to lose weight simply by being lazy and sitting on my ass. -
Making the same argument over and over is not making you more right. The cheerleaders didn't say a damned thing for a longer period of time either and I have yet to see you question their motives or story.

And I'm sure OJ was very generous to others as well. Good deeds do not cancel out bad ones. Why are you going to great lengths to stand up for Watson and not for Snyder? We already know your answer, for selfish reasons. You have yet to address your selfish hypocrisy.

When literally nobody agrees with you and plenty are calling you out that is not a good sign that you are right. The cheerleaders didn't call the police either, Snyder has committed no crime (that we know of) yet, all your hate for him is a direct result of the losing and other accounts that also did not involve the police. Yet you want him out and Watson in. If you can't see the hypocrisy in this you are simply not being honest. As has been pointed out you only care about what you want, specifically a POS owner who has shown he can't make your team win being forced to sell and a POS franchise QB on your team because it will help them win more. All of this for one purpose, it's because it's what YOU want for your own enjoyment with no thought what so ever to the victims and Right vs Wrong.

Exactly right. @Giddy4Gibsonis flat out wrong here and it's pretty disgusting. Glad others have called him out on it.

No. And I wasn't at Ford's Theater in 1865 either but I have a pretty good idea what happened. Why do you insist on believing the cheerleader victims but not the massage therapist victims? You have been busted for your hypocrisy, best play now is to just take the loss and STFU.
