  1. Ron did the best he could in a very bad situation. He needed a QB, the clock is ticking. Mariotta, Tribusku etc would have been a lateral move, if that. I don't think Wentz is the answer but he will certainly be better than what they have had and better than the other options.
  2. Again why would a pretty good team trade their starting QB with no real viable replacement who is better? I just don't understand all this Carr talk.
  3. Agree with all of this. I'm not familiar with the other 2 players but I would have thought even more for a player like Wilson.
  4. Meh. Drew Lock can't play in this league, it really doesn't matter that he has more tools. They are both cheap as far as QBs go and at least Heinke has things like that Tampa playoff game on his resume, something Drew Lock does not have.
  5. Ron is desperate, the clock is ticking. I fully expect them to make a crazy offer for Watson which will only make me hate them even more, if that's even possible.
  6. So no talk of the report that Washington offered 5 firsts and Seattle rejected it because they feared the Washington Commanders in their conference with no first for 5 years? I don't see Drew Lock as having any more value than Taylor Heineke. If anything Heinke has a better NFL resume. I don't understand why people think the Raiders will part ways with Carr. What upgrade is now available on the market? Watson. That's it, that's the list. Why would they trade their QB with so much uncertainty surrounding Watson?
  7. One of the victims on Twitter is thinking he got paid a big check to not tell his story. That would make a lot of sense to me. That's where I am. I declared here a few months ago that I was done, I just can't support a team owned by these horrible people any more. And I am committed to that, I stay here to get info about this whole thing and holding out a slim hope that he will be removed. That hope gets slimmer by the day.
  8. Well glad he is gone, and I did edit my post although he had quoted it. Sorry for the violation mods, this is over thankfully. But still pretty disturbing that he could dig in so hard on his stance. Have we not learned anything these past few years? This only shows that we have a long way to go.
  9. I drive Uber in retirement. My routine now is to get up, have a cookie or a handful of grapes and sit and sip coffee online all morning. I get hungry but just don't seem too motivated to get up. So I eat breakfast typically around 10:30-11:00 and then my big meal before I drive at around 4. This cuts my meals to only 2 and I have lost 15 pounds,I believe this makes me the first person in history to lose weight simply by being lazy and sitting on my ass.
  10. Making the same argument over and over is not making you more right. The cheerleaders didn't say a damned thing for a longer period of time either and I have yet to see you question their motives or story.
  11. And I'm sure OJ was very generous to others as well. Good deeds do not cancel out bad ones. Why are you going to great lengths to stand up for Watson and not for Snyder? We already know your answer, for selfish reasons. You have yet to address your selfish hypocrisy.
  12. Now that we have established that@Giddy4Gibsonis a selfish hypocrite can we get back to the investigation?
  13. When literally nobody agrees with you and plenty are calling you out that is not a good sign that you are right. The cheerleaders didn't call the police either, Snyder has committed no crime (that we know of) yet, all your hate for him is a direct result of the losing and other accounts that also did not involve the police. Yet you want him out and Watson in. If you can't see the hypocrisy in this you are simply not being honest. As has been pointed out you only care about what you want, specifically a POS owner who has shown he can't make your team win being forced to sell and a POS franchise QB on your team because it will help them win more. All of this for one purpose, it's because it's what YOU want for your own enjoyment with no thought what so ever to the victims and Right vs Wrong.
  14. Exactly right. @Giddy4Gibsonis flat out wrong here and it's pretty disgusting. Glad others have called him out on it.
  15. No. And I wasn't at Ford's Theater in 1865 either but I have a pretty good idea what happened. Why do you insist on believing the cheerleader victims but not the massage therapist victims? You have been busted for your hypocrisy, best play now is to just take the loss and STFU.
  16. I am with @Connand the other posters who pointed out how inconsistent your thought process is. You want to get rid of Daniel for his actions but you are all for acquiring a player with a much worse history. My wife was a massage therapist so this hit closer to home for me. Watson is a disgusting POS so why would you be confused that some fans are against this move?
  17. Thanks. I was hoping to fine the tweets those people in Congress have been posting, it was earlier in the thread. That way I can contact them directly.
  18. I can't find any of the old tweets from Congress who is part of the committee. I want to tell them that all their talk means nothing. The NFL and Snyder is punking them by refusing to release the report and they do is issue idle threats without any subpoenas. They do appear to be grandstanding and I'd like to tell them that.
  19. Boy he is taking a huge risk. I wouldn't be surprised if he suddenly disappeared
  20. Congress did not get the report and threatened further action, Just what is taking them so long to issue subpoenas?
  21. As I hear more and more people who are paid to offer their opinion say they do not believe Snyder will be forced out the less optimistic I become.
  22. Sorry that's what I meant. State Farm, Budweiser etc have to put pressure on the league. That is the best way to get change and that campaign is targeting those sponsors too.
