Nah Nah Nah…Nah Nah Nah…Hey Hey Hey…GOODBYE CLOWNSHOES

I agree Dan is incompetent. This is not even up for debate. As for making a "splash" - I feel like that sentiment comes from a place that speaks to how psychologically damaged the fanship here has become. That we can only speak in terms of "splashes" as the only means to maximize the bringing fans back into the fold. I respectfully disagree with this point and feel that a new owner coupled with a proper philosophy rooted in bringing in a great football mind as GM followed by allowing him to build the team the right way will ultimately lead to wins. Wins will lead to fans coming back into the fold. There is no short cut. The last 20+ years should have taught us that. -

Does anyone else find it problematic that (provided his reports are true) that potential owners were reaching out directly to a HC candidate and were not willing to hire a GM and let him build the team? You know, like winning franchises do? I'd hate to think that we end up with another Snyder. Would be tragic. -
This, unfortunately. I love BSJ's play but he's beginning to look like he'll be injury-prone most of his career based on his first two years.

I gather that Jamin has improved since a lackluster rookie year (probably miscast as MLB) and a couple of rough outings at the beginning of this season. Would you say he's a solid starter at this point? Good but not great for a 1st rounder but I'll take it. We just need another LB in the draft.
-
I've heard a lot of buzz around Wright as well after this week. That said, I guess it comes down to how many teams want to spend their 1st rounder on OT vs. other needs. Obviously, it always comes down to that. If it is felt this is a deep draft of decent T prospects, maybe let others "overpay" in the draft and we focus on a stud IOL and then take a tackle in rounds 2 ore 3. Would rather not focus on TE early, but I realize it would be good to have a legit starter since it's looking like the bloom has come off the rose with Logan Thomas. Also, what is our plan with LB? Seems like a huge need that we'll also need to slot in between OT/OG/C/CB in the draft.

Daron Payne or Jonathan Allen? You are the GM who do you keep?

So what would you do, then? Kind of hard to just let him walk after the season he just had. -

Honestly, they should have kept this uni. The ones they have this year are horrible. Also, hate how we have an all black uni. Looks like the Steelers. -

Question: Does the movie have a happy ending? -
Agree but prison is still prison. It ain't like cruising the Mediterranean on the Lady S!

I heard on 106.7 that the NFL typically has a short list of pre-vetted potential buyers so I don't think that process should take that long. I think the main issue here will be whether or not they decide to vote him out and then auction the team themselves or wait for him/Tanya to do it on their own. I'm guessing the new breaking story about the federal investigation may add urgency to Snyder to sell on his own.

Has been a wonderful day. Sorry if posted already, but saw this on Twitter just now. Maybe we now know why the Snyders came around? -
Hopefully, he'll be told his services are no longer needed. He's been a huge disappointment as a DC.
-
I'd just settle for him developing into a mid-range starter at this point. The FO/coaches not making LB a priority this year is football malpractice.

Great insight and thanks for the post! Do you think BRob will be full speed by week 5 or ease him in? -

I just want to make sure he comes back 100%. Don't want to ruin him just to get him in a game or two early. (too be clear - that's not what I'm implying you're suggesting, just a thought that came to my mind when reading about an Oct return timetable) -

I read somewhere where he was walking around the locker room without a limp. Pretty amazing if true! -

Yeah, I'm not sure I agree with the take that the talent on this roster is demonstrably better than Eagles in 2017. That said, I do think Wentz will hopefully unlock another 1-2 W on his own just from better QB play. Even if he doesn't end up as a top-15 QB in the league.
