    Nope. Just my armchair amateur assessment. Just felt like the offense was a lot more creative with Kirk. That might be just bias on my part or might be a real phenomenon (and possibly related to the fact that Alex is still new to the Skins).

    Not your fault, but I chortle a little bit when I see the word "management" used to describe this dumpster fire of an organization. It's about the furthest thing from a properly managed team I've ever seen. Pure panic. That's the best way to manage a team.

    Good question. Anyone know which of the two (Quinn vs Sims) has the more severe injury? You beat me to it! Hopefully, an announcement/press release by the team is forthcoming that will let us know what the confirmatory tests for each of them showed and the prognosis.

    How much of the lack of WR involvement do we attribute to limited live game time Alex Smith has had in this offense? Recall that many here were concerned about the lack of playing time Gruden gave our starters during preseason considering we had a new QB. Is it possible that Smith hasn't gelled with his offense yet and that's why our passing game looks so lousy? Aren't most/all of these guys outside of Quick and Dez on a team already? Are you suggesting we trade for one?

    I believe this is how Ertz and Gronk are used at times. Creates matchup nightmares. You can still have Sprinkle lined up in the traditional TE spot to block and roll out for dump off pass, if need be.

    Apparently Sprinkle is looking more comfortable in camp so maybe that means we will have more flexibility, even on earlier downs. As for Reed, we could split him out wide on 1st/2nd downs almost like an oversized WR.

    Don't hold your breath. Joe Barry will be here next year. Book it. (to be honest, I also agree he should be at least on notice - but the fact is that he has no real ILBs or safeties to speak of)

    Not at all ... was just curious. Glad to see someone maintaining the passion about it. Seeing Libya, Bahrain, and Syria crush their own people is as disheartening as seeing the Tunisians and Egyptians succeed was invigorating.
