  1. No brainer - wonder if they'd go for it, though? That, plus our Ron-led FO seems incapable of creative personnel decisions.
  2. Is it a foregone conclusion they'll have to cut one of them? I loved Dee Winters in the run up to the draft. I thought he looked like an athletic freak. We have too many WR already Miami totally makes most sense. Their RB room is a couple of injuries away from them starting some dude off the street.
  3. Agreed. I just was thinking we need a starter-caliber player at the tackle position in a big way. So using a first rounder on that makes sense. Other draft priorities (pending coaching/GM/player turnover in Harris' first offseason) would include LB, TE in addition to the OL. Wouldn't mind a late round developmental QB as well. Isn't Saadiq Charles emerging as LG starter? I thought I had read/heard that from JP Finlay.
  4. It's clear to me that our interior OL has some reason for optimism but short and long term. We need to address tackle in the draft next year. Big time. Should probably be our first round pick depending how the chips fall.
  5. Would rather we don't rush it. WR is one of the areas on the team where we have depth and can probably be ok without him in order to be conservative and assure he's fully healed before going back out on the field.
  6. Interesting that you don't think we keep 3 QBs. I hope you're right about us picking up another OL. Wouldn't mind if we did the same for TE as well. Damn, our LB crew looks weak but our DB depth is on point. I hope that Quan starts looking better.
  7. These two points stick out most to me (we knew the OL was gonna blow, unfortunately). Chase Young is quickly approaching bust territory. What a huge disappointment - I am growing to hate this FO's personnel moves but they may look like geniuses for not picking of the 5th year option in the face of a lot of criticism. Reaching for Jamin Davis with a first rounder will be seen as the penultimate testament against this FO - and that's saying a lot considering Mathis looks like a total reach/bust and Quan Martin looked lost against backups in his first game (and we could have had an OL instead of him!!)
  8. Honestly, in all of the debates around keeping or getting rid of Ron - it's stories like this that seal the deal for me. You can even throw in taking Jamin Davis with a 1st rounder into the mix as well. The personnel and draft "strategies" have seemed like a total ****-show. Like a drunk guy throwing darts at the wall. I'm hoping Josh Harris isn't gonna have any of this nonsense and will clean house (both FO and coaching staff) if these 1st and 2nd round reaches show they were mistakes and we end up sub .500 yet again. @Conn - meant to ask more about Quan. I read all over Twitter how he was looking lost against backups. That seems like such a huge disconnect between what the reports were coming out of practice. What gives?
  9. By the way, what has happened to Phidarian Mathis (ie, our 2nd round pick last year)?? Seems weird he's getting lost in the shuffle and none of the beat reporters or anyone else for that matter is talking about him
  10. What do people think about the "Process" that keeps getting reported about concerning Josh Harris' method for team building both in Philly as well as NJ? Sounds like some folks have mixed feelings about it given what happened to the 76ers this year based on what I'm seeing on the interweb.
  11. At the end of the day, I could care less. I'm just glad it happened and we got a new ownership group that will take this team back to respectability.
  12. Is it a definite that the team will release Norwell?
  13. Me too. I'm hopeful that either Ron (or the new regime) prioritizes drafting a top OT next year.
  14. All of that will be over soon. Help is on the way.
  15. I really hope whatever stadium they move into isn't that red monstrosity
  16. That's good to hear. It's reasonable to assume he can put on more weight so if all of the other traits are there and he's long enough, he might be an OT after all.
  17. Undersized how? Weight, height, or both?
  18. I forgot about Castro-Fields. We took him off of someone's practice squad (Philly maybe?). In the run up to the draft, he was supposed to be pretty good I think. Would be interesting to see more of him in preseason.
  19. What concerns me about this is that there are some things the "owners need to resolve with Snyder" in order to move the sale forward. What on earth could that be?
  20. I'd be down with a trade deep into the first round provided we can pick up 2024 draft capital as part of the package.
