  1. I love Legette but was hoping he'd slip into the top of the second round.
  2. Exception rather than the rule. Others who shot up out of nowhere, got taken early and then flamed out include Zack Wilson, Trey Lance off the top of my head. There are countless others - I'll do more research when I have more time.
  3. Guys like Jayden Daniels that come out of nowhere and shoot up draft boards based on one season of results give me pause. Didn't that happen with another LSU QB a few years ago (Jamarcus Russell)? No thanks!
  4. That's a bummer - an ideal scenario would be to get one of the top tackles in the first and then nab him at the beginning of the second round
  5. I wonder if we can/should trade Terry/Jon Allen/Payne and anyone else under a vet contract who has value.
  6. To be fair, Tua became "Tua" once he had otherworldly speed on his offense and a generational talent at WR. None of that would have happened here if we were to draft him.
  7. To be fair, Shanahan showed flashes when he was OC here. I attribute a lot of the success of RG3's first season to his creativity. Will have to take your word on Mahew - didn't realize he was in charge in SF.
  8. Based on what I've seen from Chicago. I don't really want this guy at all. Let's take someone from SF, Baltimore, or even the Steelers (Harris used to be minority owner there and might be able to convince one of the assistant GMs to come over).
  9. Agree with this. Also consider our D was ranked 31 of 32 with Sweat and Young. I think a lot of that comes down to coaching and playing people out of position, but still - can't justify big contracts for guys on a D this bad. We were right to get value for them while we could.
  10. I was disappointed with Orakpo. I really had hoped he would have turned out to be an elite DE but never felt he was more than average-ish. Brian Kerrigan was the most consistent DE we've had over the last 10 years. What a great find he was.
  11. I love the name Chop Robinson. I'd draft him for that alone.
  12. A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush, as they say. For once, let's realize what we have and not chase after the bright, shiny object. We may find ourselves depleted of draft picks and stuck with the next Zach Wilson.
  13. If this is the case, trade him before the deadline so we can get something for him.
  14. IF that's the case, what a horrible testament to how incompetent these clowns are.
  15. Yup. I might add Curl to the list but yeah, trade anyone we can.
  16. Call me crazy, I think Howell is better than just "average". Considering all of the headwinds he's facing, he's looked like a franchise guy. Passes the eyeball test. I'll even say I thought he looked way better than Hurts today. Remember Hurts has AJ Brown and an elite OL - those are huge advantages.
