I'm sorta hoping we nab an OL and LB in free agency. Maybe even a TE.
For me, OL is the priority after the first round. Maybe WR as well given the talent in the draft but he'll need to be a big boy.
QB is only one position - gotta make sure the surrounding cast fits the mold of what Kliff wants to put in place. Again, Peters knows the kinds of skill players to go after for a WCO. We have no clue how successful he will be in identifying what is needed to make Kliff's offense go.
The problem here is that Adam Peters knows how to "shop" for a West Coast offense and has proven he's good at identifying talent that fits that system.
We have no clue if he can do the same for whatever the hell system Kliff Kingsbury runs.
This is great intel. Thanks for the post.
Just curious, besides the obvious players (Parsons, Lamb), who do you like on the Cowboys roster? From our vantage point, you seem to have an exceptionally talented but underperforming team.
I hope you're right
I heard that segment. He said a couple of guys in Miami wanted him to go down there. I think it was last offseason. He said he preferred the DMV.
My guess is he'd coach for Quinn if he was open to it. I think he would make a great TE coach.
Sorry if I'm late to the party, but is there any word on whether or not Quinn's hire of his former DB coach in Dallas is official or still just a rumor at this point?
I did a quick search and couldn't find anything on Twitter/internet.
"Wouldn't hate" is way different than "love".
After the lackluster Quinn hire, I want to "love" our OC pick, not simply "not dislike".
A Chip Kelly hire would, coupled with Quinn, make me question the wisdom of Adam Peters.
