"There are just guys who players naturally get attracted to and revolve around and he's got that personality where you want to work with him and want to watch film with him and you want to be out here working with him." Daniels said this weekend is also about developing his leadership in the NFL, before he starts working with the veterans at OTA practices. "Just being myself, being a hard worker," he said. "Don't try to be somebody I'm not. People see who's authentic and who's not. Try to make connections, talk to people. Obviously I'm 23, it's a lot of different age ranges in this locker room, so try to relate as much as possible, show them I'm all about the team, I'm all about hard work." And, for now, it's about learning the playbook and then earning the starting job. "Just going through the lumps of being a rookie and trying to learn how to be a pro," Daniels said. "I don't have a definitive answer for you what I needed to work on. I'm just trying to learn as much as possible."

Spent a little time around novoselic in Aberdeen some years ago. Cool guy of course, nice, very tall, devastatingly beautiful gf. A young woman I was close to there had a brief fling with him a decade or more earlier and he was very warm and social with us. Later, I went back to Aberdeen for a few years (and left again about three years ago) and lived right off the wishkah river not too far from Chris Cobain's house. There's a little memorial there where tourists can stop and contemplate. Beautiful area around Grays Harbor and ocean beaches, just an hour away from the very cool city of Olympia where I did most of my work in behavioral science/ clinical psych. Loved the music scene there, the natural beauty, and the people. If you get the chance, the whole Oregon/Washington coastline is the bomb. Astoria Oregon to Newport is awesome. I lived in Astoria for a couple years and it's like a little Olympia with great arts, music, food, and scenery. Right at the mouth of the Columbia River. Right across the river is Long Beach peninsula with the nations longest continuous sandy beach. Awesome tourist destination. Cape Disappointment state park is a must see. Was living there before taking my current mission in central Montana. Can't wait to get back at the end of this summer. If you get a chance, take in any of those areas. Obviously, I will be getting paid for this post. Thank you! 😛

This team on Thanksgiving vs Dal@ss is so bad for us fans, but would be such a big draw for the NFL. Daniels on rational stage would like RG3 12 years ago. Here's hoping it doesn't happen like it did back then although the outcome was nice back then
