REDSKINS NAME JAKE BYE AS SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
OF CONSUMER SALES & MARKETING

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have named Jake Bye as the team’s Senior Vice President of Consumer Sales & Marketing. In this capacity, Bye will be responsible for the team’s marketing and sales efforts pertaining to all Redskins consumer revenue streams, as well as continuing to develop and enhance the team’s fan base.

“We are proud to add an executive of Jake’s caliber to our leadership team,” President Bruce Allen said. “We have the most dedicated fans in all of professional sports, and we look forward to having Jake in place to best serve this great fan base moving forward.”

Bye joins the Redskins having spent the last 12 seasons with the Rams and having played an integral role in the organization’s successful relocation from St. Louis to Los Angeles prior to the 2016 season. During his tenure, he was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Rams’ consumer revenue, including tickets, premium seating, suites, food and beverage, retail, customer service and guest experience. He also oversaw the strategic direction of Rams’ lead and database generation, marketing initiatives and consumer sales programs.

Bye began his tenure with the Rams in 2006 as Corporate Sales Manager, a position in which he was responsible for the marketing, sales and executive suite retention. He transitioned to Director of Ticket Sales and Premium Seating upon the department’s creation in 2007, and he was formally named Vice President of Ticket Sales and Premium Seating in 2012.

Bye, a graduate of Belmont University, boasts more than 17 years of sports business experience. In addition to his 12 years with the Rams, he spent nearly two years with the NHL’s Nashville Predators from 2001-02 and more than three years with the Jacksonville Jaguars from 2002-06.
