Best case it's Skyler from the Bowl Game. Worst case, it's Skyler the TO machine from earlier that season and then Chugs or someone as his replacement.

I think it's Will Grier's to lose though the next year.

Either way, I'd think a 9 win that returns almost the entire offense would get some considerations from the voters. But I do agree with Major..WVU seems to do better without expectations.

Now they have to get through Mizzou, YSU, and BYU in Spetember before the B12 schedule starts.

Personal hypothesis is that outside of OU they're hesitant to rank many Big XII teams too high. I think a lot of teams in the conference are lacking defensively in comparison to the rest of the P5. Just honest opinion, not taking any shots here. The Big XII just tends to specialize more in high octane offense.

I was a little surprised to not see a single vote for WVU. Especially coming off a 9 win season and with a lot of the offense back.

I was not surprised at all.  Our QB is still suspect, we lost our best offensive and defensive players (Smallwood and Joseph), plus Worley, Kwit and KJ Dillon, all drafted.

Monday of Week 1*!

* I know, I know..Cal played Hawaii in Australia last Friday. But this is the real beginning of the season week.

Let's go...grab some beers.

Wait, Cal played Hawaii in Australia? Where was it broadcast? You'd think that would have been a big build-up game...

Yeah it was on ESPN, Pope.

Dammit. I feel like I have failed as a sports fan. This is what happens when you are taking 15 credit hours while working a full time job and have a kid starting 1st grade.  You miss important sports moments....

Have no idea if they have a lot of returners this year, but it wouldn't surprise me to see Liberty play Tech tough this weekend. They've kept a lot of their FBS games close every year. Plus its a first game under a new coach, etc for Tech.

Also, I'm curious to see if Houston presents a lot of problems for Oklahoma this weekend.
