NickyJ
It feels like there's been more brutal injuries in the past 5 years than anytime before that. Like Alex Smith's was the beginning of a bad run that hasn't stopped. Maybe it's just because there's more social media attention on it.

Dan T.
Olave had a great catch, but he WASNT DOWN yet. He could have advanced the ball. If Carolina picked up the ball he spiked it would have been first down Panthers. Edited September 19, 2023 by Dan T.

Voice_of_Reason
Bryce Young is slow to everything. Which is to be expected. He’ll get better. But for now, he’s not ready.
Ball Security
Remember when we had a kicker named Dustin Hopkins? Cleveland has a kicker by the same name. He kicked a 55 yarder, so I know it’s a different dude.

It’s been established that the proper way to develop a franchise QB is to sit him for his first 16 games, play him in the finale, and unleash mayhem in year 2. 3

Ball Security
Ha ha. I set the line to 37 and took the over. Feels almost as good as when LAR kicked a fg at the end of regulation yesterday.

Depends. Certain rookie qbs actually can play in year one and if they are on a team that’s already ready to contend; they can thrive. See Big Ben and the guy we just beat, Russell Wilson. I know you're being facetious but that's exactly how Mahomes was developed "lolol" (well he sat 15 games since it was still only a 16 game season but you get the picture).

I think the joke might have flown over your head…. —————- I gotta say. I did t watch any of Pickett, I think ever. First time might be tonight. Not that impressive…. Warhead36
I can say with certainty Howell is better right now than any of the QBs who have played tonight.
Voice_of_Reason
That was a horrendous throw. That was off by 10 yards. 2 minutes ago, Warhead36 said: I can say with certainty Howell is better right now than any of the QBs who have played tonight. Eh, Carr, I think probably still has the edge. Young and Pickett, absolutely not playing as well. Watson, he hasn’t gotten back to where he was before his suspension.
