Federal employees that don’t work only get back pay if Congress says they can. Last time a handful of Republicans voted to not give federal employees back pay. I don’t doubt it will happen again. I have a feeling Congress on both sides is well aware of these dates. I hope Gaetz enjoys fund raising for "GaetzPAC" off of this. They want things that help them, don’t care what others need. They want others to pay for it, cause they don’t want their taxes raised.
