So many times he looks like he is in the middle of a ton of traffic and will likely end up with a modest 4-5 yard gain, but he is able to just take an angle and go so quickly. Well I would also say that in a state like CA, there is so much movement of people between NorCal & SoCal as far as moving back and forth, visiting people etc etc etc that it isn't unheard of for a stadium's worth of fans making the drive to SoCal if they were able to secure tickets. 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The Rams offense goes through Stafford while the 49ers offense goes through the run game and skill position players. That said, each team is built so well to compliment their personnel for what they want to do with their game plan. Honestly, If the 49ers had a better caliber QB I don't see how they could be beat. Also, he then went to Cleveland for a year and then to Atlanta for a couple years before being hired by the 49ers. He wasn't ready. McVay was the TE coach when Jay was hired, and was elevated to OC. And he was 26. So he wasn't going to be a HC candidate in 2014. Now, I have said they should have fired Jay and hired McVay after the 2016 season. But he has said there is no way he would have taken the job, he was close with Jay. FWIW, LaFleur was the QB coach, and then went with McVay to be the OC before he was hired by GB.
