During an interview he was asked how did he feel about the speed of the game compared to what he was used to in college and his answer was that it seemed a little bit slow to him with that smug look on his face. Dude completed 6 of 20 passes for 68 yards and was sacked 9 times for 67 yards. 1yard passing!!! Freaking hilarious. I say in jest, that Bears roster around him is horrendous on offense and the coaching is doing him no favors, but still, I know a lot of people wanted us to trade up for him. NoCalMike Posted September 27, 2021 Share Posted September 27, 2021 (edited) The 49ers defense is ours, except they didn't draft the players that generated national media fawning, instead they drafted guys that went to work from Day 1 and emerged almost immediately. They play fast, fly to the ball, hit hard when the opportunity is there, and generate turnovers. Other thoughts on this game: The NFL has become so soft with how they handle passing defense. There was that play earlier in the game where Jimmy G over throws the WR, who was already falling down before any contact and the defender even bats the ball away to end the play, yet he gets flagged for PI EDIT: How was that hit on Adams not an easy flag for 15 yards? Sheesh I just posted a reply about how soft the NFL is getting then they go and pull the 180 and sit there and watch a defender lower his head and crash into Adams's helmet and don't even throw a flag?
