Human arm and leg found a mile apart at Long Island park

Two kids walking to school stumbled upon a human's left arm at a Long Island park Thursday, according to police, and a dog later found a leg about a mile away -- but investigators released little initial information publicly beyond that.

Cops were called to the scene at Southards Park Pond, off Siegal Boulevard in Babylon, shortly before 9 a.m. when a parent of the children who found the arm called 911. Homicide detectives were on scene throughout the day.

Investigators didn't immediately provide any information on the limb or the circumstances of its discovery. They said the arm didn't appear to have been there long.

Early in the afternoon, a canine doing a sweep of the area found a human leg under leaves in the same park, about a mile from the first location. It wasn't clear if they expected to find additional body parts.

Church Condemned After Woman Claims She Was Held ‘Captive’ Inside

A St. Louis church has been condemned by city authorities after an injured, bound woman told cops over the weekend she’d been held captive there.

The entrance to the Mount of Olives Ministry now features a sign warning visitors to “keep away” from the “unsafe” premises, according to a photo published by the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A city building inspector reportedly signed off on condemning the building on Monday.

The official reason given for the church’s closure is that it “is used or intended to be used for purposes which are illegal and may endanger the health and safety of persons.” No further details have been provided on what led authorities to that conclusion.

But just a few days earlier, a woman who was found bleeding from the head near the church reportedly showed police a room inside where she said she had been held captive and beaten; officers reported finding a bucket filled with feces and urine inside the room.

The woman, who has not been named, identified three men who were subsequently charged with second-degree kidnapping and third-degree assault: 32-year-old Pasi Heri, 28-year-old Grace Kipendo, and 25-year-old Mmunga Fungamali.

It was not immediately clear what role the three men played at the church, though Kipendo was described by one congregant as a “respected leader” in comments to local outlet KSDK News.

The three suspects are due for a court hearing next Monday.

Adding more mystery to the case, Assistant Circuit Attorney Chris Faerber said during a court hearing Monday that the unnamed victim had been contacted by people while she was receiving treatment in a hospital, and one unknown individual claimed to be a district attorney—a dead giveaway of an imposter, since that title isn’t used in Missouri.

Man who killed and decapitated his wife was suffering from cannabis-induced psychosis, court told

A man killed and decapitated his wife while suffering from a cannabis induced psychosis that led him to believe she was possessed by a serpent and was going to kill him, two consultant psychiatrists have told the Central Criminal Court.

One of the psychiatrists said the accused man, Diego Costa Silva, believed after attacking his wife, Fabiola Camara De Campos Silva, he had to remove her head to make sure the serpent was dead.

Both psychiatrists agreed Mr Costa Silva's psychosis was not due to acute intoxication from cannabis but a more persistent illness of cannabis-induced psychosis. The court heard the accused continued to display psychotic symptoms 11 days after his arrest and detention.

Dr Brenda Wright and Dr Mark Joint told the trial that cannabis-induced psychosis was a mental disorder under the Criminal Law (Insanity) Act 2006. They agreed as a result of his disorder, Mr Costa Silva did not understand the nature and quality of his actions and did not know what he was doing was wrong.

Counsel for the defence and prosecution also delivered their closing speeches to the jury on Thursday, saying that the evidence shows due to a mental disorder, Mr Costa Silva is not responsible for his actions and should be found not guilty by reason of insanity.

"Weekday At Bernie's" Premieres In Ohio

Two Ohio women propped up a man’s corpse in their vehicle and withdrew money from the dead man’s bank account before dropping the 80-year-old’s body off at a hospital emergency room, police allege.

Prosecutors this week charged Loreen Bea Feralo, 55, and Karen Casbohm, 63, with theft and gross abuse of a corpse, both felonies, in connection with their alleged activities following the death of Douglas Layman.

According to police, the two women were not related to Layman, but lived with him at his home in Ashtabula, a city about 50 miles from Cleveland.

Cops say that Feralo and Casbohm--with the help of a third individual--removed Layman’s corpse from the residence on Monday and placed the body in the front passenger seat of his car and then headed to a nearby bank’s drive-thru window.

Man, 52, who suffered constant migraines is found to have a live WORM in his brain that had laid eggs under his skull - after catching parasite from undercooked bacon

A Florida man who went to doctors complaining of persistent migraines was found to be suffering from a parasite in his brain.

The unnamed patient, 52, sought medical help after his chronic headaches became more frequent over the past four months and his medications stopped working.

Scans showed multiple cysts in both hemispheres of his brain, as well as swelling, which infectious disease experts confirmed was the result of a pork tapeworm that had laid eggs in his brain and was irritating the tissue under his skull.

It's believed that he contracted the illness from eating undercooked bacon after the patient told doctors about his 'preference for soft bacon'.

US Billionaire Drowns in Tesla After Rescuers Struggle With Car's Strengthened Glass

Angela Chao, the billionaire sister-in-law of Sen. Mitch McConnell, tragically drowned in a pond at her Texas ranch. It is speculated that she may have accidentally put her Tesla in reverse while attempting a three-point turn.

Since then, disturbing details have surfaced, recounting the frantic rescue efforts aimed at saving the 50-year-old CEO of shipping company Foremost Group. According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, Chao was driving her Tesla home after an evening with friends when she accidentally put the car in reverse.

Attempts to break into the vehicle were ineffective due to the reinforced glass in the Model X's windows and sunroof. Tests conducted by the American Automobile Association (AAA) show the Model X's glass is nearly impossible to break underwater.

It is worth noting that Tesla CEO Elon Musk acknowledged in 2017 that his company made some "very foolish" mistakes with the Model X design, particularly its complexity. Chao accidentally put her Tesla in reverse instead of drive while performing a three-point turn on her ranch, causing it to plunge down an embankment into a pond.

As her car began to submerge, Chao panicked and called a friend to explain her situation. Over the next few hours, rescuers arrived and made valiant attempts to free her. One friend, in an attempt to help, had already jumped into the pond in a desperate attempt to reach Chao before emergency responders arrived at the scene.

An incident report, obtained by the WSJ, suggests one fire department crew arrived on the scene 24 minutes after getting a call. Describing the grim scene, one responder said the car was completely submerged and some deputies from a sheriff's department struggled to even stand on it during their rescue attempt.

Additional resources like lighting equipment, dive teams and a tow truck were called in to aid in the critical mission. Although the truck arrived on the scene, it did not have a cable long enough to reach the car. Moreover, the driver was reportedly afraid of being electrocuted. A longer cable was finally retrieved.

Despite their valiant rescue efforts, the two-man crew were not able to pull Chao from the car until around 12:56 a.m. When the doors were opened, hundreds of gallons of water poured out of the vehicle.

2 men planned to have ‘large’ python eat woman’s daughter before blowing up her house, police say

Two Georgia men are accused of setting off a bomb at a woman’s home and plotting to release a python to eat her daughter.

Authorities say 34-year-old Caleb Kinsey and 37-year-old Stephen Glosser conspired to harass, intimidate, injure, or kill the woman who owned the house, according to WTOC.

Glosser and the victim allegedly met on a dating app but their relationship eventually went south, so they decided to block each other. That’s when Kinsey got involved.

The men allegedly planned to shoot arrows into the victim’s front door, mail her dog feces or dead rats, scalp her head, blow up the home, and release a large python to eat her daughter.

WTOC reported that Glosser found the victim’s home and built an explosive device along with Kinsey, using Tannerite. Tannerite is a brand of firearm target designed to explode when struck by a bullet. The two then used the device to blow up the woman’s house, police said.

I guess this thread title fits?  😂

Spent most of the day with my mom. We don't talk a lot and have a somewhat strained relationship. I've done my best to keep my mom in the dark about my physical and mental condition and Buzzette keeps telling me I need to level set with her. And because everything in my family is a competition, my mom felt the need to out-trauma-dump me.

Spoiler

We've always known my mom grew up in an abusive household. My grandfather spent a couple years in a POW camp and had his skull cracked by a German soldier. He was messed up. I thought maybe I could help ease my mom's mind explaining how people with brain injuries can get fits of rage and it's not really him, etc.

Her: "You may get fits of rage. You may get mad that a cup is left on the counter and you'll smash the cup against the wall. Then come back later and apologize knowing it wasn't right what you did. You didn't make your kids go get a curling iron and watch it heat up then gather the siblings to watch the 'discipline'. You're not the same."

Jesus ****. Like I get it mom, that was somehow supposed to make me feel better but......okay.

*sidenote: Why the **** did you send us there to be babysat then?!?!?

The Princess of Wales controversy has only gotten worse

The public absence of Catherine, Princess of Wales, has grown from a niche royal watcher concern to an international punchline in a matter of weeks. While Kensington Palace said her January abdominal surgery was planned and indicated she would be out of the public eye through March, several unusual details — grainy photos, an altered image, vague medical information, irregular updates from the British royal family — have kept the public guessing.

That’s never a good thing.

Catherine’s so-called disappearance has led TikTok and X users to swan dive into bizarre conspiracy theories and jokes so thickly intertextual it makes one wonder if social media really does give us brain worms.

Droves of amateur detectives have crafted timelines and deep dives into the princess’ movements over the last few months, combining real concern with outlandish conspiracy. Regular people moonlighting as photo forensics specialists have suggested recent images of Kate are fabricated, spinning theories on where she actually is and who they think is trying to cover up the “truth.”

It’s not hard to understand why people are so invested in this particular piece of drama. After all, it’s called “palace intrigue” for a reason. Across social media and on message boards — and indeed, even before the internet, royal-watchers have gathered to discuss who’s doing what, who’s on the outs, and whose secrets are the juiciest.

“They lead these unattainable, unrelatable lives, and yet I’ve been aware of them my entire life,” said Susan Graves. The 40-year-old moved to the US nearly 20 years ago from Birmingham, UK, and keeps up with royal news on sites like Reddit, where the r/RoyalsGossip subreddit has more than 44,000 subscribers.

“I am old enough to remember when Princess Diana died, and all of the scandal and sadness that happened after that,” she told CNN. “And now, with everything happening with Prince Harry and his wife, and the seedier things happening with Prince Andrew, and the King being ill. It’s always something.”

“Everyone loves a mystery. A lot of these people think it’s fun to look for clues, to guess at what’s happening behind the scenes. It’s the same casual stuff people do when they gossip about people they actually know.”

Tucker Carlson Duped By YouTubers Into Interviewing Fake Kate Middleton Whistleblower

Tucker Carlson has been pranked over Kate Middleton‘s infamous edited photo.

The former Fox News anchor was duped by British YouTubers Josh & Archie into interviewing a fake Kensington Palace whistleblower, who was prepared to dish the dirt on the doctored image.

Archie Manners posed as the Prince and Princess of Wales’ former digital content creator, who claimed he had been fired for altering the Mother’s Day image so poorly it was rumbled by the public.

The Tucker Carlson Network, which streams on Twitter (now X), accepted his story after Manners and co-conspirator Josh Pieters forged Kensington Palace employment documents.

The YouTubers’ faked letter of engagement for the whistleblower included a clause stating that the palace had a right to amputate one of his limbs should he fail his probation period.

Carlson’s people did not spot the preposterous faked document and Manners was sent to a London studio with a hotline to Carlson for the interview.

Man Charged With Vile Acts At Safeway Market

A supermarket employee pleasured himself onto produce and other unsealed merchandise, according to Colorado police who say that videos of the vile activity were found during a recent search of the man’s residence.

Stephen Masalta, 32, was busted last month on charges that he masturbated outside numerous coffee shops and businesses in the Fort Collins area.

At the time of Masalta’s arrest, cops executed a search warrant at his home and seized electronic devices containing incriminating video evidence. That cache--which investigators are still reviewing--resulted this week in additional misdemeanor and felony counts being filed against Masalta.

Since his February arrest, Masalta (seen at right) has been held in the Larimer County lockup in lieu of $25,000 bond. He is scheduled for a March 22 court appearance on the new counts.

The police probe of Masalta has determined that he was employed at a Safeway store in Fort Collins for a brief period ending last month.

Videos recorded by Masalta, police allege, show him masturbating onto fruits, vegetables, and baked goods, all of which were not commercially sealed, inside the supermarket.

The clips have allowed detectives to identify alleged victims, some of whom are believed to be minors. As a result, Masalta has been charged with 16 attempted sexual assault on a child counts.
