Forehead
Can't argue with a 1 hitter and the bullpen barely having to work. And we get to roll out Scherzer and Stras the next two. As far as St. Louis goes, I'm glad we quieted them, but that's generally a respectable fanbase, and they know how to handle themselves. See the clapping for Sanchez as he left. I'd definitely root for them over the Yankees even if they knocked us out.

SkinsHokieFan
Huge that Sanchez dominated. You now have 4 starts of Stras/Scherzer the rest of this series
Voice_of_Reason
You go into game 2 with a rested bullpen, and Max, Stras and Corbin all on regular rest.

To my shame, I acted like trash to some Cardinals fans after game five in 2012 and I really wish I could have that night back. Respect the opponent. Respect the opposing fans. Respect the game.

CRobi21
Did they cheer for Sanchez? Or applaud Martinez's single and try to spark a 2 out rally. Think it was more the latter.
