The Redskins have opened their 2019 season with two losses. Both against Divisional foes. Now they get to close out Week 3 at home on Monday Night against the visiting 1-1 Chicago Bears. The Bears don't have much of an offense but seem to have what may be an elite defense.

On the flip side, the Redskins have a developing passing attack and a disastrous defense. The Redskins haven't had a Defense this vanilla since Mike Nolan received his ice cream. Oh, and the Redskins already have more guys on IR then any other team this season.

Will the Redskins finally put one in the win column?

As usual, poll closes at kickoff. Go vote!

Reads like a threat

From yesterday:

He must have run out of time on the rehab stint (contractually). Right now he's not ready. Good thing is we have some members of our bullpen that are also hopeless so no issues with Rosenthal taking one of their spots for now. He'll get in a few games here or there and if he still can't work out his mechanics then maybe another trip to the IL with rehab appearances will be possible.

Corbin killing his all-star chances in one start

maybe that 116 pitch count last game had something to do with this start

Entirely possible. There was an article a while back on fangraphs that showed the start following a complete game is usually faily poor.

Unless, of course, you're a FORMER Nats pitcher. Then you go 8 IP 3ER 10 Ks...

Amazing that Scherzer is batting here.  Such a vote of no-confidence in the pen.  Reasonable, but pathetic.

Davey pushed all the right buttons yesterday, hopefully this one doesn't bite us.

with the insurance runs, and Max being at 104 pitches, i would have pinch hit for him

Max would have murdered Davey on the mound before leaving the game apparently

MadMax has no love for anyone not named Doolittle in that pen

I love Max so much.  I hope his arm can take the workload...

If the pen weren't such trash early on(and really still kinda is)we'd have a shot. The NL East isn't great.

I want to get excited, but we've got SO much work to do. If we could somehow get to .500 by the all star break, I would be back on board.
