Shoulder and body going home, ball has to go home. Unfortunately, LHP get away with MURDER on pickoff moves ever since Andy Pettite basically shredded the rule book... Braves RP comes in and throws 4 straight balls that are nowhere close to a strike, then gets 3 consecutive borderline pitches to end the inning. ANY of those called a ball and no one even thinks twice about it because he has been so wild. Meanwhile a SP is throwing BBs and not getting the same calls... Nats kinda rolled the dice on him and Rosenthal and didn’t hit on either.  If Rosenthal was a halfway reliable 8th inning guy, Nats would have at least 10 more wins, right? Barry.Randolphe Posted May 29, 2019 Share Posted May 29, 2019 The amount of base running errors and fielding errors are incredible....especially since we were told ad nauseam that they were working heavily on that stuff in spring training  I can't remember seeing a team get picked off so many times this early in the season....and it's not like its just Robles, its veterans like Eaton who were supposed to be better than that and holding everyone accountable. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
