PleaseBlitz
The double edged sword of Trump prior to an election. The Base loves his absurd shtick and this birthright citizenship demagoguery will likely fire those people up and get them to vote in slightly higher numbers, but only slightly because if you are the kind of person that loves this kind of thing, you were probably already voting Republican. On the other hand, Trump is saying things 6 days before an election that most people think is objectively crazy, so this hurts Republicans among moderates/undecideds. Quote President Trump’s plan to end birthright citizenship has tossed a grenade into the final stretch of the midterm elections, roiling centrist Republicans and further endangering a House majority already at risk of slipping away. While Trump’s proposal could boost Senate GOP candidates and earned applause from allies such as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), others worry it could hurt the party’s chances in key suburban swing districts — critical territory to retaining the House. ... “We all know challenges of suburban R’s,” tweeted retiring Rep. Ryan Costello (R-Pa.). “So now POTUS, out of nowhere, brings birthright citizenship up. Besides being basic tenet of America, it’s political malpractice.”

skinsmarydu
OMG, that ****er! Everyone knows Stacey didn't do that, she'd debate him anytime! His new commercial about the pre-existing conditions fight is hilarious...nothing against hillbillies (cuz I've been known to have a trait or two?), but his and his wife's drawls are just barely comprehensible. ? Why am I Mr. Pink? Libertarian has just become a wing of the republican party.
Bozo the kKklown
As always, GOP criticizes Dems for identity politics, but its a projection because they are all about (white) identity politics.
