Didn't someone post a tweet earlier this week with the author saying that by the end of the week, more and more conservatives were going to back away from supporting Trump?

Haven't seen that happen......or did Joe's "mean speech" make them go back to DJT?

Speaking of which.....last night Joe indicated that he didn't consider MAGA Republicans to encompass a majority of the GOP. Today the young Doocy asked him for clarification and Joe indicated that he considered people who still think the 2020 election was stolen to be MAGA Republicans. Joe, I have bad news......................

60-70% of Republicans think the election was stolen, so that means there are at least 40 million Semi Fascists out there.

Biden shouldn't backtrack.  Just say that if you still support Trump, you're a MAGA Republican Semi Fascist.    These folks will never vote for him anyway.

Nobody actually thinks that the 2020 election was stolen…and they never have.  They thought that if they told the lie long enough and loud enough, that they could will it into existence.

Oh, I assume there's lots of motives behind that lie.

Originally, it was the cover story for the coup attempt(s). Well, that, and the decades-old Republican rule of "as long as you never admit you were wrong, then yo weren't wrong. It's just 'in dispute'."

But, the actual non-zombies in the Party, like Mitch?  Even when it was an obvious lie (like, three days after the election), they still had to keep using it. Because it became the cover story for Republican conspiracy to rig the next election.

And then, of course, it's also a cult ritual. A loyalty test to the cult. "Prove you're loyalty by lying in public."

I absolutely love what Biden did. I've said for the last few years why do we keep trying to placate these MAGA buffoons? They will NEVER see logic or reason. So just tell them to go F themselves. They absolutely are a minority in this country, they're just an extremely vocal bunch. Call them out for what they are. Now we just need people to step up and vote.

Joe is delusional. That’s why he’s not the person to fight against the Nazi Gop.

Doesn’t matter if a few right wing pundits are leaving Trump.

The maga base is probably about 40% of the gop. Then another 40%-50% of the gop will go along with maga because they view anything from the Dems as evil.

There’s only about 10-20% if the gop that is any good and opposes maga.

Joe most of the gop is maga; especially their voters.

Also Joe they aren’t semi facists. They are full blown Nazi Facists.

Every Dem campaign ad should be emphasizing the fact they are running against facists.

It was early 2021, and Senator Rick Scott wanted to go big. The new chairman of the Senate Republican campaign arm had a mind to modernize the place. One of his first decisions was to overhaul how the group raised money online.

Mr. Scott installed a new digital team, spearheaded by Trump veterans, and greenlit an enormous wave of spending on digital ads, not to promote candidates but to discover more small contributors. Soon, the committee was smashing fund-raising records. By the summer of 2021, Mr. Scott was boasting about “historic investments in digital fund-raising that are already paying dividends.”

A year later, some of that braggadocio has vanished — along with most of the money.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee has long been a critical part of the party apparatus, recruiting candidates, supporting them with political infrastructure, designing campaign strategy and buying television ads.

By the end of July, the committee had collected a record $181.5 million — but had already spent more than 95 percent of what it had brought in. The Republican group entered August with just $23.2 million on hand, less than half of what the Senate Democratic committee had ahead of the final intense phase of the midterm elections.

Now top Republicans are beginning to ask: Where did all the money go?

Interesting article about the 'Combating Public Disorder Act' designed to go after BLM protestors. Now, TFG and others incite violence if things don't go their way & the FL government is silent.

Flori-duh: State leaders crafted anti-riot law that boomeranged to their own supporters

Remember way back to the spring of 2021, when a phalanx of Florida lawmakers and county sheriffs had gathered to herald the “Combating Public Disorder Act?"

It was quite a show, with obligatory performances by Gov. Ron DeSantis, his obedient underlings and a posse of Florida’s MAGA county sheriffs.

“In Florida, we are taking an unapologetic stand for the rule of law and public safety,” DeSantis said while signing a bill that anticipated “mob violence” from Black Lives Matter protesters.

Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods put it this way: “Anyone who opposes or fears this law is an individual who cares more about a criminal and criminal acts rather than law and order.”

Heralded as “the strongest anti-rioting, pro-law enforcement piece of legislation in the country,” the law created new felonies for those “anti-police” forces who took to the streets. It also denied them bail before their first court appearance and allowed non-violent protesters to be charged if they happened to be at a protest where other people committed violence.
