Just out of interest, I sent to RT to see what the article said since I would think they would be the most likely to report it. Nothing there, but I did see this…

https://www.rt.com/russia/550119-moscow-claims-five-ukrainian-soldiers-killed/

Russia’s armed forces have reported that its troops have opened fire on a “Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group” that attempted to cross into the country, killing five servicemen and destroying their vehicles.

In a statement issued on Monday, military chiefs said that “a unit of the Southern Military District, alongside a border patrol by the Russian Federal Security Service, prevented a sabotage and reconnaissance group from violating the Russian state border from the territory of Ukraine.”

What a surprise....

No one will be able to check that of course... And that nobody expected that kind of stuff from the beginning right?

Kremlin pours cold water on summit plan for Biden, Putin on Ukraine

Russia struck down potential plans for a meeting between President Joe Biden and President Vladimir Putin — warning Monday it is too early to discuss holding a summit on the Ukraine crisis.

“It’s premature to talk about any specific plans for organizing any kind of summits,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

“There is an understanding that dialogue should be continued at the level of foreign ministers,” he said, adding that there are “no concrete plans in place” for a presidential summit.

“If necessary, of course, the Russian and American presidents can decide to hold a telephone call or connect via other methods,” Peskov said. “A meeting is possible if the heads of state consider it appropriate.”

Putin is going all for it.

Kremlin just called that 2 sabotage team were stopped last night and one Ukrainian soldier was captured.

Add to the fact that he believes peace is not going anywhere with Ukraine, it should be clear to anyone what he's going to do.

He's just putting up excuses as those "attacks" were probably done by separatists and Russian soldier with a few bodies that nobody could claim the difference if that ever happens ever.

I still find it hard we're trying to talk to him when it's been obvious he intended it since he got Crimea... We shouldn't act as surprised at all.

I really wish there was a way that this could end with Russia losing a war. I'm not talking about getting stuck in a quagmire and pulling out 20 years later. I'm talking having half their soldiers die on the battlefield, and losing a chunk of their country, and signing a surrender on the deck of a US battleship.

Probably can't happen. But it needs to.

Unless Ukraine decides  (or is pressured by the west) to agree to ceding control over those territories in exchange for security guarantees….

Except some of the area Russia has talked about today is currently under Ukrainian control, I think.

Russia will invade. U.S. will impose sanctions  Europe won't impose harsh sanctions, since their businesses make money in Russia.. Russia will kill all Ukrainians who support Zelensky. Russia will kill Zelensky as soon as they can.  Install a Russian puppet and that will be it.

Then Putin will so everything to make sure his American puppet is restored to power in 24.

Going to suck that we are going to have $4 to $5/ gallon gas.

Yeah, that ****ing lunatic is going to invade.

Cut him off from the SWIFT banking system and pressure the Saudi's to flood the market with oil. Let's see how far he gets when their economy starts to rapidly crumble.

He's doing the basics in being backed up by his population that doesn't have access to other option but what she's being told. So now you have 130M of Russian people that are mislead into believing that Ukraine wants to blast them... When almost all of them doesn't even pretty know that Russia was born in... Kiev.

Sometimes, I wonder if the best way to win this, wouldn't be to hack all of Russia's and China's networks to flood the population with reality.

That could be fun.
