I vehemently disagree. The toughest on field players are often soft spoken off of the field. Many of the badd azz thuggish types have turned out to be sissies once the pads are put on. I'll leave JJ Watt and Ryan Kerrigan as my examples. Your turn

And what have the Redskins and Texans won?

 

Meanwhile, in Seattle, with Sherman, Lynch... or in Baltimore, winning super bowls with Ray Lewis...or the Steelers, with James Harrison.  Defenses need attitude, and expecting guys to flip a switch, to be a monster on game day and not be arrogant the rest of the time is just insanity.  

 

Look at the great super bowl winning defenses.  Its a mad physical sport, the good defenses are mad and physical.

Main takes from Gruden's conference..

 

CB #2 is Hall's job to lose

 

Sounds like Trent Murphy is ahead of Preston Smith right now

 

Ihenacho is favourite for the SS spot right now 

 

Moses feeling healthy and ready to compete. 

He's heading straight out onto the practice field now. Players already out there. 

 

That's good to hear about D. Hall.  If he can regain his form, that'll be huge.
