First minute in and he already is posing more of a threat.

I know he is only 17, but he is just better then anyone else we have there. His movement, his vision, his touch, his awareness, etc is just better then anyone elses.

 

At this point his age doesnt matter.

First time I've ever seen him in a live game. Don't care if it's against a bunch of Caribbean fishermen and coconut farmers. This kid is a natural. You just see a player and you know. To kill that dead and have the cool composure to put it in the corner ..... At 17 ..... Drooling!

So goal and an assist for Pulisic in about 15 minutes. And hes making it look really easy, as it should against a team like this. Our other midfielders arent making it look that easy.

Im hoping we just play youngsters in the next game. Give Pulisic a start with Nagbe and Morris. I may be being a bit hard on our other midfielders I admit, this is just a nobody team they are playing and I cant stand it when players dont play hard no matter the reason.

What was his second like? Whomever was streaming decided to switch over the Honduras- Canada game as soon as 90 minutes were up.

He was open at the top of the box, ball was cut back to him with a guy closing him down from the side. Just calmly put it into the left side of the goal, keeper didnt stand a chance at it. Though granted the keeper is not good hah.

Technically sound. Plays with his head up all the time .... Which sounds as simple a thing as it should but watching the vet. US players they're still having to look at the ball when they're running with it. Good vision. Perfect weight of pass. Quick. Excellent movement. And that composure for a 17 year old .....

Yeah, BVB games are being added to the must watch list this year.

Said with the usual caveat of just 34 minutes against a bunch of Caribbean amateurs and all that. But you just know a natural talent when you see one. He keeps on developing at this rate kids gonna' be some player.

A win win wins the group.  Which then gets to play Mexico at home and Costa Rica on the road for the first two games of the hex.  

Then play Mexico in the heat of June 

No thanks. 

 

Loser gets Costa Rica at home then at Honduras or Canada.  Plus gets Mexico in Columbus in March and away next October when the Hex is probably already settled.
