Dan T.
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=030_1421237536 Employees of a Massachusetts used car dealership posted the above video, thinking they were "getting" the delivery guy. A video of car dealership employees in Westport, Massachusetts screwing over a pizza delivery guy over $7 has led to Internet outrage and backlash. The video shows the delivery guy returning $7 in cash to the dealership that he thought was a tip. By the end of the video, one dealership worker threatens to “put my foot in your ass” and another says he will call the delivery man’s manager and get him fired. The total bill for the pizza and drinks was just over $42 and dealership workers gave the guy $50 in two twenties and two fives. In the video, the pizza guys says he confirmed that they wanted to give the whole $50, and then left with what he assumed was a $7-and-change tip. But the dealership then called the pizza place back and forced him to return the $7-and-change, and he was left without a tip, leading to the conversation on video. The video has gone viral, and the car dealership employees are feeling the wrath of the Internet hordes. http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/2015/01/14/westport-car-dealership-messes-with-pizza-delivery-guy-feels-internet-wrath/zXO7rV6jreriD63xG0bj5L/story.html?s_campaign=bcom%3Asocialflow%3Afacebook Check out the resulting Yelp reviews for the dealership: http://www.yelp.com/biz/f-and-r-auto-sales-westport
Shiv
Car salesmen and women are the #1 reason I haven't bought a car in 10 years, since the last time I had to deal with them. I'm sure someone will come in here and tell me that not all of them are douche nozzles, and they would be right, but it doesn't change the fact that most of them are. skinsfan1523
Done the delivery thing. If people were jerks like this we usually didn't deal with them anymore. You're expected to tip, but if you dont, dont rub it in their face, it comes off quite douchey.
PCS
Couple of articles on this with some more detail. http://kitchenette.jezebel.com/car-dealership-dicks-over-pizza-guy-on-tip-it-backfire-1679603660 http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/2015/01/14/westport-car-dealership-messes-with-pizza-delivery-guy-feels-internet-wrath/zXO7rV6jreriD63xG0bj5L/story.html Yeah. If a given place gets a rep for being douches like this, I have to wonder if their pie gets "adulterated" while on the way. Just sayin'.
Destino
Was the owner of the car dealership involved in this bit of idiocy or did he wake up one day to a PR disaster?

Well that had to be an amazingly bad day. Wow. If my employs ever did that to me, I'd have to have someone else fire them. I wouldn't trust myself not to hit one of them with a chair. Mercuryrising
Pretty funny Yelp review for them: I find it extra funny because the poster is clearly trying to trigger a child porn investigation on the dealership. At the least their computers would be confiscated and kept for a fair length of time while technicians combed through them for evidence, and who knows what they might actually find during that process. "I needed quotes on cars, but the bald man and the black man insisted I browse through their child porn collections. Don't buy cars here for the sake of the children. When I refused to do business with them I was bombarded with vulgar insults by a strung out lady in green who insisted I "eat her cheese curtains"Traumatizing experience overall and I would never recommend their service." Same idea but, for the record, I think the story was clarified that the bill for the pizzas was $42 and change. They gave him two $20s and two $5s. So the pizza guy thinks $7 tip on a $43 dollar delivery - why give him the extra 5 if you want all the change back?
Kosher Ham
Either way at that point...it's seven freaking bucks. Take it as a loss. No big deal. I have not watched the video yet.
USS Redskins
In one story, the owner of the car dealership and his son went to the pizza place and apologized. That's cool but I hope he took action against his douchebag employees who likely cost them some business.

There was another one like this set up for the pizza guy, and they quoted his wife about it, saying they didn't ask for anything but were grateful for the support. This one looks brand new. pjfootballer
I just don't understand some people. We live in a "me" world with a bunch of assholes. The same one's that like to act like this will be the first to claim they are "offended" by something that normal people wouldnt give a second glance. GoSkins0721
My 2 takes from this: What dude would want that troll-hat-wearing **** to be their soul mate? Her hand-job motion after the dude left says it all. Classy. The fat dudes, busting at the seams with their enormous power & self-worth, probably live alone in a studio apartment where they spend their non-working hours sobbing quietly while stuffing their face with bowls of plain spaghetti.
