Haven't played since Sunday, either, which was my first time online. I always start awful at these things, then get mediocre, then have moments of sheer brilliance (40-2 type games) mixed with sheer ineptitude (4-12 type games). sportjunkie07 Posted November 20, 2013 Share Posted November 20, 2013 I like it. Haven't seen too many connection issues outside of the norm for Cod. Im a big fan of the sc 2010. Just reminds me of the acr from mw3. Good at all ranges. The helu pilot is really good so far for open maps. Im typically a fan of more open maps so I prefer them on this game as well. There do seem to be more maps with intricate designs, allowing more routes for flanking and more camping. The hill on prison break is one of the strongest power points I've seen on Cod. Get control of that and you've got the game in the bag. I've really enjoyed the ping perk so far. Hardline is ridiculous and should be at least a 3 point perk. You get the normal early streak and the pro version of 2 assists counting as a kill. Sniping is always one of my biggest complaints on Cod, but I like it so far in this game and I enjoy the occasional pickup. Spawns are still a little stupid, but should get better. Im pleased with this game so far, though I do wish there was still a Moab though. INo go on the stick change. I go to slide and knife at people. I'm good where I'm at. Thanks for the info though. +1 for the making the change. you'll be used to it before long and its much better for this game unless youre playing a knife heavy gametype.. I have scavenger at 3 kills, sprint at 5, and off the grid at 9....then at 11 you get a refill of ammo / lethals / tacticals and a care package. Wicked awesome if the other team can't kill you.... Spend 3 squad points on a soldier...pick the honey badger class. It gives you off the grid to start with. Try that and see what you think. Springfield Posted November 21, 2013 Share Posted November 21, 2013 Ok, so some things I like about this game... The slide is going to be crucial. I've been using it more and more often. Especially when picking up tags in KC. The maps, now that I'm becoming used to them are pretty well designed. There is a lot to learn as the detail has been pumped up. The maps seem more vertical which adds a new layer to the game. The servers as matchmaking seem to be pretty stable on PS4. I've only been disconnected once and have not experienced much lag compared to BO2, MW3 and BO. This adds to a lot more enjoyable play time and less ****ing about the game not working. That was my first impression of Ghosts. The maps aren't really bigger, there is just a lot more to then which makes it difficult to get straight for the first several hours or so. On the other hand, Thunder says it's boring. He thinks it's a good game though. This is titled Black Ops 2 but it's his newest upload. I'm gonna miss hearing him criticize BO2, lol. It can be fun, and I like the quickness of the Invision series (black ops and blops 2 were kinda slow in comparison), but I just can't really get into it. You die really quickly in this game, which is bad for a "reckless rusher" like myself. The maps have a lot more detail...places to hide, camping spots with good vantage points...perfect for snipers to sit there, aiming down scope, and just shoot at anything that moves. When I'm going balls to the wall objectives most of the time, I don't feel like taking time to hunt down some window camper that's 300 yards away from the nearest domination flag or demolition bomb site. kinda annoying. Still though, I have fun playing this game. I just chop it up as "call of duty being what it is," and accept that Ghosts will be for when I just feel like running around aimlessly. If I want a challenge and feel like playing strategically, I'll pop in Battlefield. Talk about night and day... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Now that I have learned the maps I'm on top of things. The game basically feels like a better version of MW3 to me. The killstreaks aren't overpowered at all, really I think that they are a bit underpowered. I miss putting up a stealth chopper and AGR right before hitting a SR71 and doing it all over again in BO2. Some of the equipment is lame but you live and learn (or die). I'd recommend it if you are a COD fan. Plays most like MW3 to me, not BO2. Probably because it was made by the same people. Let's face it, there was bull**** in every COD. MW3 had some mad connection problems, and the deathstreaks were unbelievably lame. Remember when you'd notice someone with Dead Man's Hand and start playing a little softer towards their spawn? Dude would just keep blowing the hell up when you'd kill him. Ended many streaks for yours truly. I played some drunken Black Ops 2 with the lady last night. Man, the camera angles are pretty bad . Too drunk and rusty to keep up with HC. Being drunk is fine, but I gotta practice alot first to be good. We played core TDM, slapped on the MK48 with ACOG and did well. I dunno about getting the Xbox One in order to play Ghosts, starting to think I sit this season of COD out. Pretty surprising, pretty sad. I'm sure the game is good in its own way, but Activision has raped my wallet too much with these map packs as it is. When I paid 15 bucks for mother****in' Mirage, Downhill, Magma and the like...it just took the wind out of my sails. Now they want me to drop 600 bucks this year, for COD? Pahaha, **** that.
