Think Denver have matched the Heat's level of intensity, but Miami has been able to maintain that level for longer stretches. Like a pack of savage dogs on the court. That kind of sustained performance makes people start thinking team of destiny. Especially after dispatching the bucks in five like they were nothing. The nuggets are a buzzsaw though. Best offense in the playoffs lead by the best player in the playoffs. The best defense of the playoffs barely slowed them down. At this moment he doesn't need to beat Jimmy, but losing to the Heat would hurt his case. It's hard for some folks to buyin to "best player talk" for someone with no rings, that's a real mental roadblock for some in this conversation, to extent I think that's fair since he has two MVPs so a ring is what he has left to accomplish as well. I mean the dude has been in the league for 20 years playing well more than 22 seasons with all the playoff games he has played in and put up a 40 piece and nearly had a triple double in an elimination game and they lost by 2 points and people are still hating on him.
