Monk in the Hall!
After all these years- we have a kicker. 13/13 with 9/13 over 43 yards. Are you kidding me? He nailed a 48 and ?50 yarder today before his game winning 35 yard kick. His kick against Dallas was mega-cluch. He just seems to expect it. All hail Cobra Kai... Sweep the leg.. SWEEP THE LEG. skinfan2k
I guess signing Billy Cundiff has to be the that final acquisition at kicker that God decided to give us a kicker lol!

DCchillin89
Love having an NFL-caliber kicking with ice-water veins. However, we do need to get the Kickoffs sorted out before someone takes one to the house on us. The kicks are low and short and give the returner a running start. I don't understand why is he so bad on kickoffs. Anybody with kicking experience care to shed light on this?
Voice_of_Reason
No kidding. I don't understand why is he so bad on kickoffs. Anybody with kicking experience care to shed light on this? I believe I read that he's never done it before. I'm not a kicker, but it's clear that ts not just leg strength, because cundiff had a lot of touchbacks, but couldn't kick a 50 yard fg. There is technique involved. And if you haven't done it, you probably need to learn it. Something he should be able to fix in the off season. CliffBattles
Does anyone know the record for consecutive FGs made to start a career?
skinsfan07
Especially since we do a lot of directional kickoffs, for someone inexperienced at it, I'm sure there's a learning curve that Kai hasn't gotten to yet. No worries, kid has a great leg and will be able to work on that in the offseason.
Duckus
Does anyone know the record for consecutive FGs made to start a career? They said it on the broadcast yesterday, I think it was 15 or 16.

PortisBetts
As much as I love Kai, who's in favor of an extra roster spot for a kickoff specialist? May not need one if they elminate kickoffs. That would just raise the Cobras value.
pjfootballer
Does anyone know the record for consecutive FGs made to start a career? I believe Garrett Hartley, New Orleans, 16 in a row to start.
HeluCopter29
As much as I love Kai, who's in favor of an extra roster spot for a kickoff specialist? Have we tried Rocca on kickoffs? Dude can hit too. BTW, why doesn't Rocca play LB?

dahibachi
As much as I love Kai, who's in favor of an extra roster spot for a kickoff specialist? i'm not... especially with the multitude of injuries and banged up players. Hopefully nothing goes wrong on kickoffs for the rest of the season and we look to improve it in offseason or see if Rocca could do it.
RawBBQSauce
May not need one if they elminate kickoffs. That would just raise the Cobras value. I really hope they don't eliminate kickoffs. That would ruin the game. Plus, where would they play the millions of commercials they run before and after kickoffs?
terpskins10
As much as I love Kai, who's in favor of an extra roster spot for a kickoff specialist? I agree with this. We can cut Banks in the meantime to free up the spot. I think in the offseason though, as much as I like Sav, we should find a punter who can kick off. HankersonOwnsAll
I think we should cut Banks and sign the former Cowboy kickoff specialist, David Buehler.

TD_washingtonredskins
What Forbath is doing is ridiculous. I hope we understand that he might not stay perfect forever because he seems like a legitimate, long-term solution at the position!
