G.A.C.O.L.B.
Great play by Desi & Espi!!! Yup, very nice. Who was the runner? Morrison? I don't know what he was crying about. He was out by about three steps. Not really close at all.
Hubbs
Who's ****ing about Desmond? A couple people were saying he needs to not swing at the first pitch as much, which I would agree with if it weren't for the fact that it's working.

Warhead36
Lidge gives up a 2 run homer. Save blown, no W for Stras. /sighhhhh
skinfan2k
well he just needs to keep it tied. Lidge will blow some games for us thats why we need to get Storen back ASAP

skinfan2k
Gorz is warming up for the 10th. Good move for Davey to start him to warm up for that.

GoSkins0721
Can we please just ride with HRod from here on out? **** this rotating closer bull****. Worst part about that is Lidge had Ramirez 0-2 and then walked him. If his slider isn't working, he sucks. He can't sneak his 90mph fastball past hitters. mmzznnxx
Even when Brad Lidge gets saves, he's always way too close to blowing it. The sooner we get Storen back the better. I might find myself hating Lidge before the end of the season is over.

I wish other guys would swing earlier. Most times you're only going to get one great pitch to hit per at bat. I swear many of our hitters pass on that pitch every single time they're up. I think it's a big reason Zimmerman has struggled. He's being too patient.

Werth has done a good job of being patient this year. He was patient last year, but never got untracked. Desi has improved his eye. He's not swinging at nearly as many bad pitches as he did last year. Espi, well that's a different story. He looks lost at the plate. I won't be surprised if Lombo starts at 2nd the 1st game in SD. Hubbs
F.P. is apparently unaware that the bottom of the ninth would be played if the home team was losing.
G.A.C.O.L.B.
Lmao. I swear, every single time I'm on and Werth comes up in a clutch situation, I type out a Werthless post and wait to post it. And every single time I've done that he's come up big.
Hubbs
Damnit. Gorz is warming up for the 10th. Good move for Davey to start him to warm up for that. I realize he's warming up for the 10th. The problem is that it's Tom ****ing Gorzelanny.

skinswillwin06
He said if Werth hadn't homered, we wouldn't be batting in the bottom of the 9th. Please get healthy soon, Storen.
Hubbs
Wait, what'd he say? I wasn't paying attention to them He said, in the middle of the ninth inning: "If it wasn't for Werth's homer, we wouldn't be playing right now." Which, of course, is just completely wrong.
